    My son and daughter-in-law got married at Historic Seven in ******* this last New Year's Eve. The caterer for the venue was *********************** of Mache Catering. ****** was very pleasant to deal with and even though her prices were outrageous, I never questioned anything as this was the first wedding I had ever paid for. My complaint is that she served cold, soggy food to my guests. My kids wanted a simple meal of burgers and fries. I added in a few extra things, such as toppings for the burgers and a green salad. I later found out from good friends that the burgers were cold, the fries were soggy, not everyone was given the toppings and the salad had nothing in it. I also found out the burgers were cooked on a *************************** grill, which I believe she resorted to after her grill broke. She never came forward to tell me what was going on. It was only when I sent her an email about my disappoint in the food that she told me that some things were out of her control. I asked her what she felt was fair, since she was unable to serve our guests a quality meal and she told me she had done her job and owed me nothing. There were many other things that night, such as she required me to pay extra for her servers and yet she was using one of the venues employees to run the bar, then she charged my credit card before ever sending me an invoice. I still have not received one of the invoices, but she made sure to get her money. ****** told me in the first email after the wedding that she would address all of my concerns, but she never did. I believe the venue is no longer using her because of how unprofessional she was. I paid her company $19,208.03 and it is sickening that she got away with making so much money off of me while serving a terrible meal. I hope no one else ever has to go through the embarrassment that I have felt by my family and friends being served such a bad meal. Thank You, *******************
