  First off, the line out the door every morning should tell you something, and if you stand in that line you will hear customers singing their praise. Ive been going to B &D for over 20 years. They are honest, professional, and reasonably priced. My ex husband and father, who know a lot about cars, approved of their work and the cost. For a mechanic to get my dads approval is really saying something, as hes a perfectionist who always worked on my cars before I got married and had even rebuilt an engine for me. I trust sending my daughter to them with her older, not so reliable car, and they always do what they can to save her money while keeping her car safe and running. Also, when its time to replace our cars they let us know that they wouldnt dump anymore money into it if they were us, even though theyd make more money if we continued to need repairs. Im extremely thankful for **** and his team at B &D.

  B and D is the best around! They have serviced my wife's car for several years and recently my classic car. We will always trust this shop for any and all maintenance for our cars.

  Be forewarned.BBB requested a response from me as **** Jones finally decided to respond to the communication that originated in 6/2023! Yes, they refunded me a partial amount $300.00, (in October 2023) with the help of a complaint filed w/ Bureau of ****motive Repair, because ***** wouldnt answer the BBBs request to communicate. I took it to the next level. I gave them 3 times to correct their mistakes, & to return the hardware that they stole from my vehicle. They said that I didnt give them enough tries to fix my brakes. 3 times isnt enough!? The technician **** Jones son, *****, who worked on my vehicle is not licensed, never attended any mechanical repair training. It shows. He broke things in my engine compartment that I have since paid to have fixed. He didnt turn my rotors, but he charged me for turning my rotors. The Service Advisor, *****************, is not a mechanic. I never met or spoke with the owner, **** Jones. He doesnt actually work on the premises, he holds the one ******** ********** else works there without a license. I looked up this ************** have all previously been taken to court, several times. That speaks volumes about the character of this companys staff, ownermore specifically, how they treat their customers. As for finding a shop to work on my vehicle, I dont have any problems finding reputable shops to do good work on my vehicle. They are appalled by the shoddy workmanship of ***** **** Repair.

  Im not that impressed, especially since they came so highly recommended. They did a good job on adjusting my E brake. But thats where it stopsthey either cut a line or yanked on it, in the front diff breather hose attachment that doesnt need to be cut, the whole assembly can pop out like a body clamp. Its irritating because I check my car visually, pretty regularly. And that wasnt flailing around the engine compartment before I took it here. Now I have to replace that. Theres a rattling noise thats still there, they replaced a pulley tensioner and they thought it seemed to help, initially, but the noise is still there. Upon driving off their lot and going along slightly bumpy asphalt theres a banging noise coming from the rear that sounds like something isnt attached correctly and is loose. I brought it back to them a week later to inquire about the squeaking brakes, and the lines in the rotors that wasnt there before they turned them and put the new pads on. They said they checked everything and it was good. They said they didnt need to bleed the brake fluid, but my pedal deflates after being depressed. The rotors are getting groovy and they never had any problems for 145k miles before this past week. The brakes need to be bled, theres air in the lines. And maybe the Abs module needs to be bledWhew! Theres quite a bit to get sorted out. Why should I take it back to a place that couldnt do a simple brake job and they had 2 opportunities to do it correctly!!!???Theres a whine noise on starting the car, which they said was the starter, they replaced that, but the whine was still there. **** said that I should drive it around for a few days and let it settle inI decided to have them put my old starter back on and refund me the 738.00.Its pretty frustrating to be a woman trying to find a reputable mechanic. The second time I was there, ***** said that he never went to any formal mechanic training, and that the training isnt very good. WTHeck?!?
