On 29Nov2024 we paid the registration ($403) for our 10yo son to play tackle football with Vista Pop Warner on the 11u team which was an option at the time of registration. Since that time, the league (Vista Pop Warner) has decided to only offer a 10u and 12u option. Neither of those options are viable for our son. On Wed, April 2nd, 2025 I contacted the league president, ****** ******** and requested a refund of our registration fees ($403) since we wont be able to play for Vista Pop Warner for the upcoming season since they no longer offer an 11u team. Today is April 21st and I have sent her 10 texts, due to being ignored over this time. The few times she actually responded, I was only met with excuses ranging from "sorry, I was out of town" to "we usually don't give refunds, we already paid taxes on that but let me ask the board". It appears that she has not contacted the board, as I contacted the board myself, and they are unaware of any refund requests.Bottom line is, we paid registration for an 11u team when it was an option. An 11u team is now no longer an option so we are requesting our full registration fee of $403 to be returned. Seems simple and reasonable. Thanks for any help with this.
