    For my 40th birthday, I received 2 orchids from them. One was supposed to be a "jumbo" orchid in bud. What I received what a 3 lead orchid (which is the minimum size to ship ftr, not at all "jumbo") with a few short buds on it. The other different "mature" orchid also came as a 3 lead, however, one of the leads was already dead and the other two's color didn't look so great - yellowish-green, which normally means it's dying. I contacted them, provided pictures, and they actually told me that it's a tough orchid and it'll be fine, and ignored my complaint about the size of the supposedly "jumbo." I was angry. I gave it an adjustment period before pulling it out and looking at the roots, as I didn't want to put it under even more stress with how bad off it was, and there wasn't a single living root on the plant - which can't be blamed on cold damage like the dead cane was. I had a sinking feeling as soon as it arrived in the state it was in, and on the form it was listed as "bareroot" but I received it under a ton of ****. That usually means they're hiding dead roots so you don't realize right away that you didn't get a healthy plant. I then assumed the one in bud also had dead roots, but if you mess with the roots of a blooming orchid it's going drop them, so I let it bloom before ********** it. Again, all roots dead. So, I received an $120 birthday present of terrible plants that were completely not as advertised, the site wouldn't even give me any kind of partial credit or trading them back for actual healthy plants, etc. I sincerely doubt that either plant is going to recover, but I'm going to continue attempting to rehabilitate until all canes are obviously dead. Not a great feeling for a present to commemorate your "over the hill" birthday, lol. It's such a shame. Breeders with rare plants shouldn't use this vendor; they're just going to kill them.

    ZERO STARS! I can't even give Orchids.com one star. They sent me an over-the-hill orchid that was yellow brown not yellow pink as it appears in the photo. The flowers are already falling off 6 days later after I received it and the leaves also look very unhealthy. I have been buying orchids for 35 years and I've never had an issue like this. DO NOT PURCHASE from Orchids.com!!! This was suppossed to be a 70th birthday gift for a dear friend - to give it to her would have been an insult. This place should be investigated!

    Terrible experience. TERRIBLE. I bought a few orchids last month from here. I paid an extra "premium" price for 2 orchids to be in spike/bud. The 2 they sent me were already at the very end of their bloom cycle and only had a couple of dry wilted blooms remaining. Within a few days of receiving, they had dropped their blooms so now I have 2 orchids that I will have to bring back to bloom over the next year - that I paid EXTRA for so that they would be in bud/spike. Not already fully bloomed and drying up. I grow orchids, have for years, so I know it's not bud blast or shipping shock. They sent me *** orchids. I have contacted customer service many times to ask for help and they have completely ignored me and refuse to respond. IF you order from them, your results may be hit or miss, but know that if they send you crappy orchids, you're stuck with them. Go with someone else who will stand behind their product, will provide customer service, and won't take your money and then ignore you!
