      I had a 5 year car loan with Mechanics Bank Auto Finance and never missed a payment. They sold the loan to ******************* Management in April of this year. I meticulously made sure my final payment made it to Mechanics Bank and my initial payment made it to ********* by both calling and checking their websites. Some time in early May I discovered they reported my April payment as 30 days late. They made it incredibly hard to get ahold of them directing everything to *********. I finally just called a generic number and finally got through to someone who admitted they'd made that mistake on numerous peoples accounts and were going to fix it. I was even told ************** was told to tell people calling to complain that they acknowledged the mistake and were attempting to fix it. They definitely did not know the 3 different times I called them. It's coming up on 60 days and it's still their and has significantly affected my credit score. I'd like this fixed immediately please!

      I'm elderly man I walked in Mechanics Bank in *********************. June 25, 2025A black lady claimed she was the manager. Cussed me out to no return. Came around the counter seem as if she was going to assault me. I been a customer for many years. Can you please pull the video cameras in the bank.

      on June 1, 2025 Mechanics Bank made an error and tarnished my credit score over 150 pts. Their system said that I missed a payment over 30 days and they don't even handle auto loans as of May 1st. I have been paying another auto loan company that took over for them. I called and they said they are aware of the problem but still have not taken this off my credit score. I was also told that I wasn't the only person who's credit score was affected by their mistake. They admit that the system made the error and they had a team working on this but it still hasn't been resolved. I am very frustrated that this could even happen and your credit score can be totally destroyed over someone's negligence.

      I financed a new vehicle through Mechanics Bank in 12/21. I have never missed a payment until I made a payment 18 days late last month. The bank transferred my loan to ********, which said my first payment was due on 05/17. When I called today to make a payment, I was told there would be a $109 late charge. I made the payment, but this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I will never finance through Mechanics Bank again.

      I got a loan through ************************* when purchasing a car from ********************* in ****************, **. I have been paying this loan for over 3 years my balance never seems to go down it seems to only get higher. They have charged me multiple extra charges when we were making payments via ******************** and they were trying to take payments out of a bank account that was closed and they were told to remove from the account which they never did. They have now sent my account to Westlake Portfolio Recovery and I cannot speak with anyone form Mechanics Bank when I was told they would remove said charges. It has been a constant and continuous problem dealing with these people and their lack of communication and broken promises and help. I do not feel thay after almost 4 years I should still owe over ***** dollars on a car that was only 12,000-13,000 dollars and have received the full amount of monthly payments each month.

      Mechanics Bank stated I missed payments. I called ************** to dispute and after discussing with an agent he stated he found the error and needed a Supervisor to call me back. Well, he never did, but did start getting calls stating im past due. The agent stated I missed a payment in June... and as you can see, from the docs uploaded, I am not. Also my credit report reflect ZERO late payments until Dec 2024. I know if had a few payments reversed due to ***, however have always made the payments within the 30 day period. Now my credit report shows late payments as of dec 2024, which is incorrect. I advised the most recent agent I have proof, but he had no interest in them. Just demanded payment.

      I am rejecting this response because: Pretty convenient you dont have record. You record the calls. So if I got a lawyer and subpoenaed the call records, you wouldnt have them? Taled to Mechanics bank twice after the loan supposedly ended. Ive contacted ******* to get phone records.... Talked with ******** service the first time and thats when he stated he found the error. Then spoke with a Manager the 2nd time and discussed loan maturation. Thats when he made up some lies about missing a june payment... which CLEARLY shows was made.  and over $800 in late charges?!?!? LOLOL... come on, even the worst tuition loan isnt that bad.

      I am rejecting this response because: As you also heard on the recordings, the "supervisor" mumbled some c*** about missing a june payment in 2024... Ive already included my bank statements showing no missed payments. Some "bounced" due to ISF...which I take responsibility for as well as the charges. My point was if I have no missed payments, how is it I had 2 payments past the maturation date? I made the payments as agreed to per the contract, what you, Mechanics Bank, do with it, its your business, however being reported as 30/90 days late, is incorrect. Any late fee's/*** charges should have been taken care of after all actual vehicle payments were completed. Those fee's also would have been paid as I know you would not have released the vehicles title until paid. All in all.... I will mark this complaint satisfied if you advise the missed/late payments on my credit report as corrected and removed. As you can see from my credit report... I've missed ZERO payments that you state why as there was a remaining balance (besides the late/*** fee's). So your assessment is incorrect.

      date of transaction. 11/08/2024 the amount that there gross negligence costed me, $6696.00 we had an *** account that we were told we could make a withdrawal at the time ,we were told to call there *** service specialist that would walk us threw the complete process.Our dispute is that the agent with Mechanics bank greatly misinformed us of the tax implications and the amounts that would be owed to state and federal tax , causing us to have to pay the addition $6696.00 on our taxes, if we had been made aware of the high taxes and penalties of almost 40% we would not have withdrew the money.After talking with a bank manager on March 28, 2025 about our problem he made no attempt to help resolve our issue ( there was no advertising )

      Ive been using mechanics bank since 2021, I got a car from auto quest in ******, immediately it started having issues, the transmission went out and I had no car for 9 months while I had to save 8k to get it fixed. The bank did not care at all and would harass me anytime I was late. After covid the economy was so bad I struggled to make payments. The customer service was so mean the people that call would yell at me over the phone and I would get so scared to answer. Well recently I got my account locked for being 30 days late, I cant answer phone calls or talk to them on the phone, Ive recently lost my hearing. Instead of emailing me they continue to ignore my customer service emails requesting to go over my loan details since I cannot access my online account. They started calling random people to talk to them about my car loan and caused me to lose my job as well as they contacted someone I was hiding from that I was involved in a domestic violence case and asked my abuser to help them contact me. Now theyre calling random people saying theyre going to repo my car and still refuse to talk to me over messaging. Its become a very messy situation and I requesting help to resolve this issue.
