From the start, they impressed me with a thorough presentation, competitive pricing, and outstanding customer service provided by ***, the owner, and *****, the project manager.The roofing crew worked safely and efficiently, taking the time to answer all my questions throughout the project. They even went above and beyond by helping with additional tasks around my house, which I greatly appreciated.Now, all my neighbors are asking who did my roof!       We had our roof replace with Roof Maxx also known as NC Roofing. It was a disaster and I would like to advise others. A two day project, became a week. A crew of 6 individuals were left completely. - that means all day- unsupervised and without the skills. The owner *** had to be called and he lied and admitted on text that he had lied regarding being at the site. He never showed up. Our property was damaged during the work: ******** was left without basic equipment like a ladder. ******** used our fence to climb from the ground to the roof. Our retaining wall was damaged. Debris from the roof was thrown over the front yard plants-destroyed. Wood k**** that existed as part of the porch were knocked off. This company was operating with an expired City License, I found out during the work. The City Inspector refused to pass because the crew had left multiple nail gashes and nails showing out of ALL the *****. Part of passing the inspection is that the nails have to be cut and silicon patched, which the inspector mentioned they should know to do: 1) leave a ladder 2) patch the nail holes. Inspection was not passed and a delay. This company started asking for payment 4 days before the job was completed. Text and harassing for hours asking for the full payment BEFORE the job was completed. Payment is given after the last inspection is passed otherwise they will be gone and never be seen. We had the good fortune of having a fantastic Inspector that spoke with the contractor directly to stop the harassment and do the right thing. I would not give Roof Maxx/** Roofing a half of a star. Located in ************. A complaint has been submitted to CSLB with the hope that others would not go through the same experience. The fortunate action is that we have generous amounts of texts, pictures, videos and all is documented.
