    Advance Aluminum Awning Company was hired to replace my patio and the work was completed on 07/01/2022. I noticed my pole cover boards were damaged due to the new patio needs to attach to the pole. Advance Aluminum Awning owner, ****** ********* was onsite to exam, confirm and agree to come back to fix the damage on ********** but so far this has not happened and he stop answering or responding to either my phone calls or text messages after ***********
    Please help to resolve this case as we already has security camera recording to proof the cause and process of damage was done by the work and ****** ******** already agreed upon to fix this damage.

    Advance Aluminum Awning went to the customers home on August 25th to repair the broken wood, ****** the installer had the wood and paint to repair the broken boards. After removing the boards on all sides it was discovered that the middle post was rotted out. ****** explained to customer that we do not repair this kind of damage. It was not our fault that the board had termite damage or dry rot. Customer seemed fine at the time. I did not stop responding to the customer. Might have taken a little bit longer than expected.

    First of all, thank you, BBB, for your help in facilitating this repair issue with Advance Aluminum Awning.
    Advance Aluminum Awning did come back with the cover board on 08/25/2022. However, installer did not replace the cover boards after observed the center pole termite damage on the back side of the pole surface.
    I had to hire and pay a referral contractor to complete and finish the cover board replacement and purchase paint myself to have the cover board painted by the contractor.
    I cut off the old center pole into a few sections to exam it and there is no rotten or termite damage inside the old pole except some water damage on the bottom part. The cover boards have no termite damage evidence other than the cracks by the patio work.
    The initial issue was to replace the broken cover boards by the patio work and nothing about the center pole. It took almost 2 months to have the installer back to my house but still did not resolving the issue until hired a different contractor on my own expense to finish board replacement and the painting.
    I am not satisfy how Advance Aluminum Awning respond to this issue and how it handled my case but this issue is finally resolved by hiring a different contractor.
