    Carroll and Strong Builders ***** of ***********, ** issued me a check for $2450. 75, on December 8,2023. The next day my bank notified me of insufficient funds. I contacted ***************************, CFO of company and he reassured me of the error and will send papers tp my bank to rectify situation. He assured me by Monday December 11, my birthday, that all would be cleared. Now a week later the same **************** says it is my obligation to claear account and to take it up with my bank. I believe he knowingly knew the check was not going to be good and has no intention of making it valid. I wish for you to intercede and have him send via bank draft the amount to my bank.     Carroll and Strong Builders, **** has no business dealings in *********, **,  or with ************************** 
    Our bank account was hacked and checks were reproduced illegally and  issued fraudulently.    Our account was subject to over $500,000.00 of attempted fraud. The account has been closed and the authorities have our file.
    ****************, unfortunately, fell victim to a scam.    It is frustrating and disappointing and we are very sorry that **************** was subjected to this fraud. However, he had no reason to recieve a check from Carroll & Strong Builders, **** and should have questioned it's authenticity. 
    We have had numerous people call us from all over ***************** inquiring about these fraudulent checks. We don't have record of **************** calling our office. Had he contacted us, or our bank, he would have been told of the fraud and that the check was not real.
