I contracted work with Mr. ******* back in June of 2022 for a bathroom renovation that was to last 4-6 weeks and ended up being roughly 4 months due to his tardiness, employees not showing up for work, the city would show up and again not a contractor on site, therefore prolonging permit pass delays. In Mr. ******* did not stick to the original binding contract in which specifically specified what vanity and mirrors that we specifically requested however we didn't receive what we requested. The shower that was placed (free standing from old bathtub) has a problematic leak that we had to address to fix. He merely walked of the job via text and said to to fix the tiles with the outstanding balance of the contract and that our business is done here dated on Oct. 26, 2022. Recently (Oct. ******) I received 2 emails from Mr. ******* threatening to try to place a mechanical lien (even though we are well out of the statue of limitations) on my property claiming I owe him $1800.00 for a job he walked off of and I have this in writing. I did not pursue Mr. ******* for failing to fix my bathroom and walking off the project, due his tardiness on the project prolonging well beyond the original contract due date to an unprofessional working relationship by consistent delays involving his employees. In addition to a lien threat being placed Mr. ******* also threatened to file for foreclosure on my property. I take idle threats very seriously and this is an absolute threat to me and my family causing undue stress. I did not respond to Mr. ******* emails but my wife did stating to stop contacting us. No consumer/customer should have to be threatened by his choice of words ever,
