    0 stars. this business is a scam I gave them a deposit shortly after that the same amount came up from different businesses related to him so needless to say I had to dispute all charges

    November 2023. Hired him to build a encloser and install a whole house Generac generator. He didn't show up on the date to start and I could not locate him. I called Angi's list to see if they could contact him. Finally after 2 days he contacted me and said he forgot. During the encloser start and build there was no supervision. after building the encloser which was not built to contract specs and he did not repair it. He got upset that I called Angie's and stopped work on the project. I went back and forth with texts and emails. He would never return my calls. Finally in late December he said he could work me in, in January. He never showed up. After multiple emails and texts, he told me he couldn't find a electrician or plumber to do the job and wanted to do the job himself. I said no! he wasn't a licensed plumber or electrician matter of fact I found out his contractors license for revoked by the CLB. Also, Generac has no record of him or his business being a distributer of the generator. He owes me $3480 from the difference of the encloser build. DONT USE THIS COMPANY OR PERSON.

    UGH! I have learned to do my due diligence - Ben came out to my home, wrote up a contract and then came back a week later and took my $7500 deposit and I haven't heard from him since - FURIOUS!! Will seek legal recourse

    I recently received a proposal to install a generator at my home. After taking my $7500 deposit, Ben stopped returning my calls and emails. This company is clearly trying to scam people and I have been left to take legal action. Avoid this company at ALL costs.

    We paid Ben Buffery at State Generators $7500 deposit for a generator installation. He cashed the check within an hour and hasn’t answered his phone since. We hired him through Angi Marketplace. That was on July 10, 2023. We received the referral from Angi July 5. BUYER BEWARE!

    I paid for a generator to be installed 8 months ago in full. It still hasn't been installed. I've had very little communication from B** ******* the owner including a 4 months period where he didn't answer the phone or return any messages. Stay away from this company.
