    I used Marathon HVAC recently for my twice yearly HVAC maintenance. The serviceman immediately got a reading that indicated a very high carbon monoxide leak. He said the heat exchanger was faulty and we needed at minimum a $7500. replacement and upwards to $11,000 more if we replaced the furnace too. He disconnected the thermostat for our "safety". I don't doubt that shutting down the system is necessary if there is a dangerous situation, but we had doubts about the serviceman and the safety. The following day we had another inspection from a licensed **** company who said our system was in great shape and there was no carbon monoxide. For our peace of mind, he recommended that we call the gas company and tell them we had conflicting reports of carbon monoxide present. We did that and they came the same day. The gas company said all our readings from the heat exchanger and our vents were normal and safe. So I am just warning future customers to do their due diligence with this company because they were very wrong and in addition have been constantly trying to sell us things.

    Superb, comprehensive and efficient service! After searching fruitlessly for a technician qualified to service an unusual HVAC system, we luckily found Marathon. They were able to come within a few days when other places couldnt come for weeks, and assured ******* qualified tech. **** was thirough..inspected and repaired every detaillarge and small. The price was titally reasonable. ******* in the office provided excellent communication and was responsible for identifying **** as the qualified technician. We could not be happier with Marathon HVACabsolutely recommend!
