    On July 11, 2022, Efficiency Pro came to my property for a complimentary HVAC efficiency check as promoted by the city of LA. It was found that I needed additional freon in the system and I paid $750 for my system to be recharged. In December as the cold weather began, we started to notice that the heater was not working. It was found by another HVAC contractor that too much freon was pumped into the system, causing the heater not to work properly (photos attached of extra freon or other material leaking from system). To remove extra freon from the system, it would cost over $300+ (estimate attached), so I've attempted to contact Efficiency Pro since they were the ones that installed too much freon. I tried several times via phone and email with no avail. I first attempted to call Efficiency Pro at ************ on 12/21/22, but the message said that the number is not set up to answer calls. I tried again on 12/23/22 and this time was able to leave a voicemail. Someone by the name of ******* called me back and informed me that the company is closed through the new year to allow a break for its employees, but that someone would get back to me after Christmas regarding my issue. I tried calling again 12/27/22, 1/12/23, 1/16/23, and 3/28/23, all with messages stating that the number is not in service. I also attempted to email Efficiency Pro on 12/21/22 and 1/12/23 and no one has responded to my emails. I've also tried reaching ***********************, who is a worker of the company (possibly owner? I'm not sure), and I have not received any response. They still have an active ****** business page and ******** page, so I have no reason to believe that they are out of business.
