They sold us a broken transmission and once we brought it back to let them know, there was an issue they blamed ** refused to give us a refund and demanded we pay extra labor hours after we drove several hours to get to their location from our location, and they were very rude. The owner himself was extremely rude, and very demeaning in the way that he spoke very threatening, and just refuse to give any type of resolution or a refund, and he was just extremely closed off to any type of resolution just basically told us no

    Business Response

On 01/30/23 ******** *********************************** from ******, ** ordered a Ranger transmission from **. The vehicle we had at the time of his purchase was a running and driving vehicle that was listed as a whole car for sale. We pulled that running/driving vehicle from our lot and broke the vehicle down to proceed with his order. On 01/31/23 the customer paid and picked up his transmission with no issue. Again this transmission came out of a vehicle that drove and ran perfectly. On 02/09/23 the customer and another person showed up at the warehouse stating that it did not fit in their car. We examined the transmission and found that they did not seat the input shaft & torque converter. It was clear that they jammed it in. We took the transmission apart & the input shaft was so jammed into the sprocket that it would not come out of the transmission. They stated at first that they had a mechanic install it in their driveway, but the customer later stated he installed it himself. During the whole conversation the wife/woman/person with the customer was aggressive, yelling and kept stating she was from ******* and would make our lives h*** if she didn't get her money back. We told both individuals that the damage was done due to them not having it properly installed by a licensed mechanic, but we offered that if they wanted to pay the $200 in labor to pull another one we would swap them out. Essentially giving them 75% off a new transmission to replace the one they broke. The wife/woman/person with the customer then proceeded to verbally berate and assault an employee and charged toward them, threatening that she would end them. She screamed that we messed with the wrong expletive. She continued to act like an animal while her partner pulled her back and tried to keep her from attacking anyone. We have attached stills from our video surveillance that recorded all of her disgusting & trashy behavior. She finally left after threatening that she will get her money back one way or another, call BBB everyday until we are shut down and walked away screaming saying F you.
Attached is the video of the customer in the black hoodie and the aggressive woman in green ***************************************
