I booked a 2 day stay at Grand Pine Cabins for a skiing holiday with my family. I pre-paid for the stay with the third-party site Expedia.A few days before our stay rain came through the area and washed away all the snow.I attempted to get a refund for our stay, since it was no longer possible to go skiing. I contacted ******* and they said they would process my refund if they received approval from Grand Pine Cabins.I spoke with ********* *****, General Manager at Grand Pine, and with his assistant ***** in multiple phone calls over the course of several days. Each time I spoke to their office they indicated that they would help to process my refund. After 2 weeks, and 5 calls, no refund had been processed and Expedia informed me that they had not heard from Grand Pine Cabins. Now when I attempt to call Grand Pine Cabins, my calls all go to ************ Expedia Itinerary Number was:************** The phone number for Grand Pine Cabins is ************

Hello,Ihope this letter finds you well. I am writing to address an issue regarding a reservation at Grand Pine Cabins. I had made a reservation for a stay at the hotel from February 24 to February 26 2023, as confirmed by the reservation details enclosed with this letter. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to reach the hotel during the specified period. It is important to note that during the aforementioned dates, the region experienced a severe blizzard, resulting in the closure of all roads leading to the hotel. The closure of these roads was officially announced by the relevant authorities, making it impossible for us to access the hotel. We had taken all necessary precautions and were fully prepared to honor our reservation, but the adverse weather conditions and road closures prevented us from doing so.As a result, we were unable to avail ourselves of the accommodation and services provided by Grand Pine Cabins during the specified period. In light of these circumstances, I kindly request a full refund of the reservation amount, which was $917,52. This amount represents the total cost of the reservation as specified in the confirmation email sent by booking.com.I understand that certain policies may be in place regarding cancellations and refunds. However, the circumstances surrounding this particular situation were entirely beyond our control. It is only fair that, in such exceptional circumstances, the hotel considers the refund of the reservation amount as an act of good faith. If you cannot physically get to the hotel, you should not charge your guests for a stay. That doesnt make sense.Thank you in advance for your help,*************************
