      Contract Dated 8/01/2022 However, we did not close on the property until 08/03/2022 and could not get the keys until after 6:30pm so do not believe the date is correct. The amount was $9,000.00.On 8/06/2022, we paid deposit of $4,200.00. and they corrected the order to be *******. On January 18, 2023, the owner called stating he needed more money and I explained that we needed details on what was installed and what changes was needed. He said he would have Hunter (the salesman) call me. He never did. From January 2023, I made several calls and was told someone would call me. We went down several times and still no one called us back.On September 15, 2023 I sent a certified letter with return receipt. Again no response.

       I am rejecting this response because:

      The letter **************** claims he send Dated February 5, 2024 was never received. We had M & M install the MASTER BEDROOM AND MASTER BATH as they told us they could not do the rest of the work until all painting was completed.  We needed to move out of a motel we had been in since July 20, 2022 and have a place to sleep and a bathroom. I never said (paragraph 3) we painted to walls and they did not match and wanted a different color. if I did speak to **************** he stated he would have Hunter call me.

      Everything in his letter is false. Plus the supposed Bill he claims he sent never came here. This company obviously has decided not to provide actual prices and costs at the time they write the contract and very pointedly leave out all measurements, cost per yard, and so called freight charges. If he had called the house phone which we kept giving to Hunter we would have answered. I DO NOT HAVE MIGRAINES. You did not speak to my husband.We have not painted.

      The Contract says 160 yards of Mohawk Natural Refinement 2 color Mushroom. No yardage was given for the new vinyl.  Plus we notified Hunter the plywood in Master Bedroom was not necessary and The Sun room was not to be included.  I continued to tell ****** both in person and my phone we needed the footage for each area to no avail.

      His letters still do not indicate the footage of each area. Nor Does he say how much Vinyl was left. Also he claims we owe $5,200.00 yet the August 6, 2022 copy of the invoice Hunter gave us shows the changes and new Balance of $3,700, we made a payment of $1,000.00 when **************** called me In January wanting money which means the balance is actually $2,700.00 which is on the 8/6/2022 receipt which has the 1/18/2023 payment of $1,000.00. I tried to explain to him what we needed and was told ****** would call me which he didn't.

      See attached 8/6/2022 date I wrote on No 5693, note all the changes (sun room crossed off, ******* and install new plywood in master bedroom scratched off and just below is deposit 1/18/2023 $1,000.00 balance $2,700.00. The times I did talk to ****** he informed me M & M would not install until after all repairs and painting was done.

      Since I did not receive a response and BBB said the case was closed I filed with the ************************** I feel M & M has taken advantage of us.

       

      How much is left of 160 yards of carpet and of vinyl?

      I uploaded  the original yellow receipt dated 8/1/2022 which has when M &M would be there along with my husband **********;  "Tuesday 8/9 10 and 12th for removal and put in the Master bedroom and bath.

      So the 9/23/2023 letter without my name and address is what is claims he sent me??? I never saw this until today from BBB.
