      7/26/22 I took my car mercury sable down too Diamonds Automotive for oil leak repair. they kept my car about a week for repairs. They charged for labor and parts 2000.00 dollars for work they claimed they fixed. The leak came back, I called the shop several times, and my wife called also. No one will answer the phone. I want my car repaired or get a refund so I can take my car to another shop for repairs. I had my car checked out by two other automotive repair shops and they said they checked the work repair invoice and the work was not done as noted on my bill with the new replacement parts for my car. I need your assistance, I cannot afford to pay an additional repair fee. My wife will be 78 in two months with health issues, I have heart issues with Kidney problems. I'm a Vietnam Vet, and I'm asking for your help.

      In response to the customer complaint ID # 1*******. For Mr. ***** *****s.

         Mr. *****s picked up his vehicle on 4/12/22, I have included a copy of the original repair order. He returned on 4/20/22 with 2 concerns. one, He had seen the oil light come on. and was smelling burning oil. I have also included a copy of that repair order, and what took place when he returned. 
      In part Mr. *****s may have caused his own concern. The oil light coming on (due to a bad oil pressure switch) Which prompted him to check the oil level. I believe it to an honest mistake. It seems that he was unable to see the oil, on the dipstick (new clean oil can be difficult to see) he added 4 quarts of motor oil to the engine, overfilling it. We found oil coming out of the oil fill cap and all over the top of the motor. We drained off the excess engine oil, ordered an oil pressure switch. (a copy of parts invoice, also included) He was supposed to return the next day for us to clean the engine, an replace the oil pressure switch. He never returned. I did attempt to call him, with no success. He did however come in one day, asking for an additional copy of the original invoice. Claiming he was going to turn it into his insurance. 
           There is no doubt that the work was done. And it would be easy to prove out. We would be happy to inspect the vehicle and determine if there is any kind of oil leak related to the work, we performed. Is so we would stand behind the service provided and be happy to resolve the issue.
