I have a rental home in Morongo Valley. My tenant called and said water was spewing out the wall behind the washing machine. I called William Sellers Plumbing in Yucca Valley. They came out to determine what the problem was. They came and charged me $135.00 for the visit. They said the problem was my septic tank. Note that they did not take the drywall off behind the washer. They pumped the septic tank and charged me $400.00 for this service. Still the water was leaking behind the washer so the problem was not fixed. Then they said that the problem was with the leach line for the septic tank and that this would cost $4,000. I then had a different plumber come and he came and took off the drywall where the leak was. He found a broken pipe and ran a rooter through the plumbing. This solved the problem with the water leak and also the smell that had been there is now gone. I have spoken to a number of people, including plumbers, who said they should have looked at where the leak was. They also said there was no evidence of a septic tank problem. Wm Sellers did give me a twenty-five-dollar discount based on the original service fee to determine the problem which they did not correctly identify and the septic tank drainage which may or may not have needed service.

    To Whom It May Concern:
We went out for a leak in the wall behind the washer machine. When we got there we observed on the ground a big wet spot, which we found out was the leach line. We had a pump truck go out and inspect the septic system which we found the leach line to be failing and not accepting water. We pumped the septic tank and everything seemed to be working properly. Owner had called telling us that we did not fix the problem and she had already called another company from Los Angeles to come out and repair the problem. This person has been a customer of ours and we have serviced not only her rental but her personal property as well. Normally we do not cut walls open unless we get approval from the homeowner, which she was unavailable at the time. If the problem was still happening, she could have called us back to cut the wall open and repair the crack in the drain line. We charged $400 for a septic tank pump, but we did drop the price to $200 to accommodate her. We pride ourselves in customer service, all she had to do was call us back to fix the problem if it was not fixed. She went onto social media and people on the Nextdoor App recommended her to contact the BBB not knowing anything about the issue, or atleast just her side. She had sent what she posted on social media and all the responses she received from her post.

    Thank you!
