    Business Response

Customer was stuck on a 4wheel drive road in deep snow, in a 2 wheel drive car.  We tried to repair the vehicle at our shop.

Customer stated, they were ok happy to be out of the situation they were in and did not mind having an ABS light on in trade.

I have not received any email with an estimate for repair cost from the customer.  Which is *** protocol.

I am rejecting this response because:

The assistance in removing the vehicle is greatly appreciated. However, per a diagnostic run at a Denver dealership, the issue is not just the ABS light. Per the diagnostic, both the traction control and ABS systems were completely disabled and the wiring harness that was damaged need to be completely replaced. The dealership quoted approximately $800 to repair, however I am currently shopping for lower quotes. I have contacted *** and was under the impression they had sent over all the relevant information, I will work with them to get that issue resolved.

I will remind you that vehicle was stuck on a road it should not have been on and the only damage caused by us was the wire that we repaired free of cost.  If there are other issues, they could have very well been caused by the conditions in which the vehicle was stuck in.  Again, we repaired all damaged caused by us.

I am rejecting this response because:

Again, I do appreciate the assistance in removing the vehicle. However, I do not recall the rear end of the car being stuck or in any way damaged before being removed. I was able to bring the vehicle to a local mechanic who was able to repair the damage for $234.30, much lower than previously estimated. At the completion of the repair, the mechanic stated that a repair had previously been attempted but the wires had not been connected properly and lost connection which resulted in the ABS system being disabled.
