    I reached out online for a $99 special to get air ducts cleaned out. The guy showed up and told my wife we needed the deep clean and had her sign a paper for it. He then proceeded to charge $500 dollars after providing a quick service that didn't even cover the entire house... I would never have reached out for a $500 service like this on our tiny little house. They took advantage of my wife and even stood over her telling her to leave a review before he would leave the house... it is ridiculous. I own a business of my own and have never had to reach out to the BBB before. I am more than willing to pay the original amount, but the $500 was way out of our budget. And the only reason she paid that was cause she was confused that that is what I ordered and signed under duress.

    4-1-24 Wish I had read reviews before agreeing to service. Upsold me from a $198 duct and chimney cleaning to a $1000 "deep" vent cleaning, chimney sweep, dryer vent cleaning and ** system in my HVAC. Bargained down to $699. Checked ducts after and were completely filled with debris and lined with lint. Made them go back over everything again. They claimed the ** light system had a 5 year warranty, but provided nothing in writing, just a receipt for payment. Turns out that their $300 ** system can be purchased on Amazon for $69.STAY AWAY FROM!! Had I not double checked their work, I would have ended up paying for virtually no cleaning in the ducts. I follow them around and watched every duct the second round. Then they tried to tell me that my dryer vented out the roof so they couldn't clean it, UNTIL I showed them where it vented on the side of my house.

    On Tuesday January 16th I hired SV Air Duct to do a service for $167. When I showed up the tech had walked all over my place with snow and ice everywhere. I just paid to have the place professionally cleaned now its a mess and needs to be cleaned again. My biggest issue the tech kept pushing me to spend thousands of dollars for services not needed and not what hired to do. Kept saying Ill give you a deal and spoke with supervisor. Worse was he left a clean very deep crack in a tile in the living room (with small debris where the large cleaning machine was.) Their employee charged me $100 for 10 minutes of work (because the hose was already hooked up and he wouldnt take it down until I paid) and once they machine was on - it didnt do much of anything as I watched. Then their tech asked me to help them move there heavy equipment (a liability for sure which I didnt help him). After he left I immediately brought it all up to the company with photos etc and its only been the run around and no help or reimbursement or help of any kind to help me pay $445 its going to cost me to have the place cleaned and the tile replaced - all based on the mess that their employee left behind. In reading other reviews online this company is very much in the business of taking advantage of customers and they absolutely need to be reprimanded. Im disappointed and disgusted with how Ive been treated and no where near what I had agreed to get done. From meeting their tech til today I felt I had to file a complaint with BBB as this company just tells me a supervisor will call, no one has called and when I sent photos they denied any involvement. Please do an investigation - they are clearly taking advantage of innocent customers, Im definitely not the first - and they will keep doing this until someone does something about it. I never complain and have ever filed with BBB but they didnt do job agreed to do, left a big mess behind and charged me for it, horrible business.

    They use a bait and switch! Just look at all the other reviews on Yelp. They advertise a full house duct cleaning for $99. You book 2 weeks out, wait all day for them to show up LATE after 5:30pm for a 2pm appointment then take a look in your vent and return and say it will cost $599.00. Then they won't leave your house and try to talk you up from $99 to $399, then $299 trying to make deals if you pay cash. I attached a screen shot of their advertisement. I even called to make the appointment to verify the work they would do and that it's really going to be $99.00. I was furious when their worker got more and more aggressive and would not leave my house. I'm so glad I have a big dog. I had to threaten to call the police and let the dog in the house from the yard before they would leave. Someone claiming he was the owner of the company called non-stop and texted me on my phone and on ******** demanding I remove my review on Yelp claiming it will cause his children to go hungry. If he ran an honest business I am sure he would make plenty of $ to feed his kids. The ad is running on ******** and they have since blocked me, but I copied the ad prior to that. I will pay more if there is a reason, but to advertise and agree verbally on the phone, then go from $99 to $599 is insane. My entire home is only **** sq ft including the basement. I have very few vents to clean. They would not do anything for $99 and the owner kept telling me I must have misunderstood. I have the whole chat string saved if you want it.

    2 more people have seen my online review and have asked me about my experience.  Both had their homes/vents torn open and the company left their homes a mess.  I suggested that they too file a complaint so that consumers like us can be warned by poor status with the BBB.  Reading your reply to my complaint, the fact that the company just ignored you gets them off the hook.  That's unfortunate.
