    On March 1st, 2021 I signed up with Anytime Fitness in ******, **. I signed up at this location after several failed attempts to sign up at the closest location to my house which was *********************************************************************** this failed attempt was due to a poorly managed facility that never had staff available, nor did they answer phone calls. When I signed up with the ****** location I was told that after 31 days I could start going to the *********** location and my membership would be transferred. This was OK with me as I needed a gym close to my house because I was going to be working out early in the morning while my son slept and my husband was getting ready for work. June 1st 2021 the *********** location closed due to poor management and failure to pay rent. I then called the ****** location and they said that all memberships of this facility were terminated unless the member specified otherwise. However, *** Financing kept taking money from my bank acct from June 28 to Dec 28th for a membership that was no longer convenient for me to use. I issued a 'stop payment' with 1stBank and contacted *** financing to resolve this issue. I was told that I needed to contact Anytime Fitness about my membership location. So I did and Anytime Fitness told me to contact *** Financing. Many phone calls and circles later, I was told by ****** at *** financing (2/25/22) that she sent ANOTHER email to Anytime Fitness and someone should contact me in 2-3 business days. I NEVER received a phone call. Now 6/11/2022 I am writing for assistance because they have turned me over to ************************ for $754.77. I have called both *** Financing and Anytime Fitness several times regarding this matter, but nobody seems to be in charge at either business. I have already paid $313.50 for a membership that I can no longer use due to their inability to manage their facility properly. They have breached their contract by not providing a location within 9 miles of my residence.
