    A Deeply Disappointing Experience I contracted Sheffield Homes to finish my basement, hoping for a seamless and professional experience. Unfortunately, the outcome was extremely disappointing. The severity of the issues encountered compels me to share my experience so that others can be fully informed before making a decision.The quality of the fixtures and finishes was subpar. The bathroom mirror was measured wrong and installed incorrectly. The bathroom sink faucet was problematic in multiple ways. Additionally, they installed the wrong shower tiles, which was a significant oversight.During their work, they somehow compromised the existing vents, resulting in a loud creaking sound whenever the heating system runs. They promised they'll come back to fix it, but lied to us and ended up never fixing the problem.Unacceptable Response and Unprofessional Behavior The lack of responsiveness from Sheffield Homes has been incredibly frustrating. They dragged their feet, were slow to communicate, and took months to respond. After nearly two years of this ordeal, they effectively ceased communication. A particularly egregious moment was when *********************, whom I can only describe as a professional gaslighter, stood in our basement and insisted there was no issue while the creaking sound was clearly audible. Another employee, ***********************, even acknowledged that Sheffield was at fault, yet there has been no action to date.I would have been willing to pay extra to resolve these issues, but all Sheffield Homes did was dismiss my concerns and gaslight me. Their work quality is abysmal, and their employees are rude and unprofessional. They left us with a poorly finished basement and a significant HVAC issue that has been an ongoing source of stress and frustration.I strongly advise anyone considering Sheffield Homes to reconsider. The experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I cannot, in good conscience, recommend their services to anyone.

    We're sorry that your experience with Sheffield Homes Finished Basements & More has been an unhappy and stressful onethat is certainly not what we pride ourselves in offering our clients, and I apologize that your your experience with our company proved less than ideal. After receiving your review on numerous platforms in August, we immediately sent our construction manager to your home to meet with you to discuss and assess your grievances. Upon spending more than a half hour in your home he was, unfortunately, unable to hear the offending **** noise. I understand that the two of you agreed that he will return in October to reassess, in the hope thatgiven a different seasonthe noise will be easier to identify. It is also my understanding, based on my conversation with our construction manager, that the **** issue was the chief concern in your review, and the only one requiring our attention.

    We appreciate all feedback and strive to consider what we may do to provide a positive client experience.
