BUYER BEWARE!!!TLDR: Months-long planned project delayed by Denver Decks met with disorganization, inconvenience and insulting apologies. All they care about is getting their money for the finished ********** disappointed and angry that I have to write that as a company, Denver Decks deserves little praise for how our project was conducted. Our project that was months of planning and waiting was ultimately met with delays and confusion the moment Denver Decks started work at my home on Sept 30th. As soon as they arrived, critical materials werent on site and would be difficult to acquire. Work was stopped no less than 5 of the first 11 working days. This resulted in undue inconvenience to my family and neighbors. Each delay was another day and night of having to walk our dog-door accustomed dogs. Each delay was another day with trailers and dumpsters in our yard and on our street. Every time a different person from Denver Decks would blame something other than themselves for their terrible planning, logistics and management. It was always their supplier, the shipper, wrong parts, unforeseen circumstance, ******* can get a quality deck from Denver Decks for a PREMIUM price. Be prepared for PREMIUM excuses, apologies and little sympathy for their disorganized and poorly managed business. Hard to enjoy our new deck and pergola being so disheartened and angry by the experience. This family recommends looking elsewhere for a business that includes ethics and integrity in the price. You wont find those values at Denver Decks.

As a company, we certainly hold dear a consumer's right to express their disappointment.
With that being said, when I had initially met with *** *****...I had let him know that the project would take approximately 10 - 14 business days. Before the project began, *** ***** decided to add front landscape railing which would add around 2-3 days to that time frame.... keeping in mind that these are just gauges of course...and there are always circumstances that are outside of our control.
The project ended up taking about 21 days (I believe) and as always, we did not receive (request) any money up front from *** ***** on his $41,447 of contracted services.
We never take any money down or money along the way, so that our homeowners know that it is in our best interest to complete the project in a timely and high-quality fashion.
During the project, there were 4 days that we did not have our team on site. 2 of the days we were running around the city looking for materials that were needed to complete the project. Post covid...there is less consistency from suppliers and wholesalers on what material is available and what is being shipped. The owner of Denver Decks stopped everything he was doing and was able to locate the necessary materials need to finish the project.
The other 2 days our team was not on site was due to an unavoidable sickness.
Both the owner of Denver Decks and I called *** ***** to explain the unforeseen circumstances and we expressed our deepest apologies and that we have made his project our number 1 priority and all of our management was doing everything that they could.
Once the project was completed (5 days late on the original projection given) ....*** ***** ended up with a high quality, finished Deck, Pergola and landscape rail that will be enjoyed by his family for many years to come.
We provided *** ***** with a very comprehensive, thorough proposal from the beginning. *** ***** agreed upon the fair price that we had proposed. We provided the ***** family with a high-quality finished product (in a reasonable amount of time ...the contract price was over $41,000 and we completed all work in under a month) ... and we requested payment upon completion.
In a time when companies are asking for up 50% down and dragging out projects over several weeks/ months... just to leave a homeowner with a poorly constructed end product... we are grateful to be able to provide our clients with a top quality finished project, in a reasonable amount of time, without taking a dime down...and not asking for a dime more when the job is completed.
Again, we highly respect a consumer's right to express disappointment/ frustration.
