  I came to this great company after a terrible experience with a company called ******* that stole over $14,000 from me and did nothing to help my case. I came across Capstone Tax Consulting and gave them a call. I explained my situation and what this other company has done; they were very sympathetic. They started working on my case, keeping me updated weekly, and were able to provide me with excellent results working on my behalf with the **** Thank you, ******* and *****. For anyone's tax needs, this is the company to go with; they will not lie, cheat, or steal from you, and they will get the results you need.

  Capstone Tax Consulting really came through for me. I of course had my doubts at the onset, but *****, ******, ************** made me a believer. They earned my trust! When we got in touch 5 months ago, I owed over 400k. They gave me a strict game plan; I followed it religiously. Today I am writing a check for 20k to pay off my final balance. No more IRS letters, no more tax companies calling. I will always be a client reference for these guys. Just ask ***** for my number. *****, ****** and team, thank you for being who you said you were. For the person or business that just wants to know that things are being done exactly the way they should be, the way you would for yourself if you knew everything there was to know. Combine that with chess master level strategy and outside of the box thinking, that is what you get with them. When it counts your only choice should be Capstone Tax Consulting!

  Finding a company to trust in Capstones business is hard. Many companies will take money you don't have in the first place & leave you with no results. You cannot deal with the *** directly. I've tried it, they can be wrong, they can lie, things change, etc. You must find a reputable company to work & fight for your rights.Capstone has a great BBB rating & I totally agree with it. They always returned calls & emails & were PROACTIVE. We learned of our problem with little time to search for a company we could feel comfortable with. We signed with Capstone, giving them little time to stop a process while getting all our details together. They readily achieved that. The fellow we worked with was responsive & we received the initial result we needed. BUT (& ********** may be surprised I include this - be sure to read the WHOLE review), he DID NOT get us the relief we expected from our initial conversation. We were happy with the initial result but disappointed in the long-term state it left us.A little later we called to discuss fixing this. The fellow we had worked with was no longer there (no problem, we didn't want to work with him). We needed Capstone to fix the problem as we had paid them for that level of service. A new manager looked at our case & immediately saw what had not happened, explained what she would be doing, got to work on it immediately & spent several weeks working with us to get the result we had initially hoped for/expected. Getting results says a lot about the professionalism & experience of a company & that is very important. Not only dealing with our dissatisfaction after the initial settlement but doing it with energy & true concern for us, says more about their character. You can find companies that add 1+1 and get 2. However, everyone can make a mistake and I want to work with a company that can look at what they/their people did, see it could have been better, and then worked hard to 'fix it'. I cannot recommend Capstone higher.

  Capstone was able to quickly complete my Individual Income Tax Returns (Forms ****) for 2015 through 2020. Although the ************************ has been slow to process the Returns that we have submitted, the representatives have already obtained my financials, and conducted their financial review, so that they are in a position to quickly negotiate a resolution as soon as possible once they do. Moreover, Capstone is helping me contest a balance from an earlier year (2014). They have explored options of an amendment, but they eventually landed on a Taxpayer Advocate Request to best assist in having the balance for that 2014 year lowered due to an ************************ error. Throughout the process, the team at Capstone has continued to maintain consistent professional communication to ensure that I know where my case is in the process and what the next steps are going forward at all times. Capstone has ensured that I have remained protected from any and all enforced collection activity (such as bank levies and seizure of property), and I am able to rest easy as a result of that peace of mind.

  I was working with another *********** out of *************** for three years, after quite a few reps I still had a Lien put on my name. I consulted with *************************** at Capstone *********** and within a couple weeks, I have already seen progress on my case. I just wanted to give this company a BIG THANK YOU!! I got the money credited back to my credit card, it's amazing how much this company has already done to give me some relief. I am so happy!   I hired this company to help with my back taxes. They had a great sales pitch. Come to find out , after the initial agreements they make they will come back to you throughout the process requesting more money in order to continue their services. After talking to an IRS agent and learning more about this process; setting up a tax payment plan takes a handful of days. The "pay pennies on a dollar for your debt" is a complete lie. This is no where near the actual truth. This is something that only happens with extensive work between the IRS agent and you. Requiring tons of receipts, documents and agreements that can last years. When i finally contacted my IRS agent directly i discovered that he had sent over ********************************************************* handling it. This information can be requested through a Freedom of Information Act. Capstone constantly told me the IRS agent was new and didn't know what he was doing. Come to find out he has 17 years experience and was ****** helpful when i contacted him directly. Due to their incompetence and dragging out my cycle, i now owe roughly 18k more than when the process started along with the money i paid them.

  We at Capstone welcome all feedback from our current and former clients so we can know more about what is going well and what we can do to improve. When that feedback involves any accusations of potential mismanagement of a case by any one of our Associates, a thorough review of the case is conducted. Our review of this matter has proven that much of the feedback in this review is simply untrue. First, our teams were in constant contact with both the ********************* Revenue Officer, and Group Manager to enact protection against enforcement as well as to formalize a resolution of the case. Unfortunately, the resolution could not be secured because compliance was never achieved by our former client. We advised on the need for compliance, both verbally and in writing, in order to secure a resolution by making estimated tax payments. Since it was never achieved by our former client, we could not formalize anything and advised him accordingly. Throughout our representation, all correspondence from the *** was either answered or given response and at no time would we have ever ignored this or any case to the extent accused. All interactions with the *** was discussed with our client in great detail, his options explained to him, and the need for compliance was advised throughout the duration of the case but never achieved by our client. There are some portions of this feedback where truth is being relayed. One instance is where a settlement or offer in compromise is discussed. It is true that such strategies are extensive and take years to complete. However, in this case, Capstone was not hired for to achieve a settlement or did we ever undertake to complete one in this case. So, I dont see how its relevant. In addition, our firm may request additional funds from clients for unforeseen or unplanned services rendered. One such instance would be where delays in the case caused by a client leads to additional work on the part of our teams. Such additional unforeseen work comes at a cost. In this matter, our former client could not attain compliance when it came time to complete his resolution, and as a result, we were delayed in completing our work and facing additional work from our teams. At this time, I would welcome a chance to discuss this matter in greater detail. The accusations being made in this review against Capstone and its licensed Associates are both inaccurate and irrelevant. We maintain strict time keeping in all cases as well as document our work product in great detail and would be happy to provide such supporting documentation.
