    06/03/2024 Flooring color not as discussed and finishing work extremely subpar as well as being incomplete The owner seems to just not want to deal with fixing their mistake so now were stuck with worse floors than we started with and already paid up front, though I will be pursuing getting our money back to fix these issues with another company.

    Customer selected the stain and color to be applied on the floor once it was sanded. Customers always sign off on the color and pick it out, we just apply what they want. Once the color was applied the customer didnt like it, we took every action possible to help her. Ultimately she told us to go ahead and seal the color on the floor. Once the topcoat of sealant was on the customer decided she hated it still and wanted us to stop work. The only way to undo the color was to do a complete full sand again which would cost more. The customer refused to pay more, we couldnt redo the whole job for free due to the customer not liking the color she picked out.

    I am rejecting this response because the color was thoroughly discussed with multiple foremen, who did not pass that information along, me handing them a sample I tried but specifically told one ******* I couldnt get good coverage with, is not me saying do the whole floor with this which apparently isnt even a stain thats made for floors. We cannot live in our house with the floors as is, as even a vacuum scratches them, we asked for a pause to figure out options, not to stop work.
