    One star is one to many, but I had to choose one. We had the heated roof system installed on our roof at least 4-5 years ago, it's never worked correctly. We had it installed under our new metal roof, we have had electrician out twice to help locate the problem, and after two years of trying to use it, all it did was make larger ice cycles then we had before, there is a broken wire in the system somewhere now so it's not usable. The only help the owner of Heated roof system was to tear up our new roof and look for the problem, he blamed everyone from the roofer to the electrician. When this was first installed every thing checked out. The OHM meter said is was a good connection. Then, after the first year, (we live where we get 5-6 feet of snow on our roof, We were never told exactly how to use it, but to turn it on when the temp. was below 32°. Which is most of the time, in the winter, where we live. I called and spoke with the owner, more then once, he said, and I quote "anybody with any common sense would know that you need to turn it off when the temp. is over 32°." How would anyone know this, (apparently I do not have any common sense), this system does not come with instructions. Long story short, we spent over $3,000 on this system, plus the roofer to install, plus the electricians, so probably over $5,000 total for a system that does not work. We were going to take them to civil court for false advertising, but time got away from us, and it's in the past now. But, if my negative review keeps just one person from purchasing this product I will have a little satisfaction.
