    Business Response

    To whom it may concern,

On March 11th, 2024 I received Fernando with a Ford F350 2019 in a tow truck he had paid and sent because the vehicle was not running. On the following day we inspected the vehicle and found that this vehicle was a flooded vehicle and found we needed to remove the complete internal wiring cab and dash with modules and pig tails to each connector and air them after we inspected the motor. We removed the valve covers to inspect inside valve covers and found water and oil mixed after we removed the lower oil pan. We found a metal screen on the pick up tube that somebody, other than us, had installed before we received the vehicle.

After that we inspected the transmission and removed the pan and also found water and transmission fluid mix. At this point I called Fernando and I told him the truck needed a lot of work to communicate with the engine and the engine needed to get the oil changed to clean out all the contamined oil out and that the transmission needed a flush. At this point no parts had to be replaced yet everything done to this point had been Labor work. I related this back to Fernando, and he said to go ahead and do the work that was totaling $9,500, which he was aware of.

This was no parts, just labor. We took the whole cab harness seats carpet dash and air dried seats harness ,plugs did 2 oil changes and on transmission flush after we wear able to communicate the vehicle to my scanner. we cranked the motor few times and found the motor was damaged o-rings on the pistons from all the water in the cylinders making the motor have blow by after that called Mr. Fernando and told him truck would not start  because of a damaged motor and would be better to find another vehicle not flooded and transfer all the good parts to the other truck. This is when customer said to put the truck together and that he would tow it back to his house. He then called me back later that day and said we had stolen some parts off truck to which I responded the only thing left I had was a Airbox filter and that he could stop by at any moment to pick it up and that I was very sorry.

He did not want to come by and wanted me to drop it off at his house and talk there, which I found unprofessional and unsafe to do. Since then I stopped responding to his text and calls.

I do firmly believe I offered a solution to his problem and was willing to come with an agreement with him, but I do not find it professional to come to his home when the job got done in my shop. It is very unfortunate this situation happened. I have not responded to him as his texts are threating and tells me he has a lawyer and police report set against me. Despite this I willing to work this out with him if that is his desired, but I can not offer a full refund due to the fact that he got charged labor work and it was all done.
