  Lets get straight to the facts here before anyone else lies from corporate and someone is severely impacted by Avalons disgusting and appalling business practices. They are taking advantage of anyone and everyone they come into contact withemployees, instructors, and students. When youre hired, you are thrown into the deep end with zero training and expected to engage in shady practices. You will partake in many questionable policies and are left in the dark about everything going on behind the scenes. If you have a question, no one higher up will ever know the right answer to anything, and something is made up on the back end days later. There is NO training with Avalon. There were also over 10 different admissions **** within the past year and a half at ONE location alone. As a student, you are left completely high and dry without a school director, an admissions **** or anyone at the school to turn to for guidance because everyone is now gone. As an instructor/ admissions **** you are treated like a piece of trash and replaced as soon as they think they have found someone "better." Is it a coincidence that two directors who have been with Avalon for about 8 years recently quit in the past month at the same time at the same location? I think NOT. Its only a matter of time before this company goes under. As soon as you catch onto their deceiving business practices, you are let go and fired. FIRED WITH NO NOTICE THAT IS, NO WARNING OR EXPLAINATION OF WHY. ******* has his minions working for himsycophants who will do his bidding without question. He will never let anyone stand in his way. If he has someone who isnt willing to do what he wants or if you have any integrity, you will quickly be shown the door. You will no longer be employed with Avalon.

  Money hungry, scam of a school. I agreed to ******** under 25 thousand dollars, only to be dropped from the program 2 weeks before graduation and told I would have to enroll in an entirely different school to get my license. I have 130 hours left of my program (**** total) which I AGREED to pay extra, 11$ an hour each additional hour until I graduated. I am appalled at the turn over rate for instructors, but not surprised. This school is run terribly, and they have your average joes running corporate who know nothing about ************ the business aspect of it. The director, as far as the campus students are aware, only has experience as a stylist, and salon owner. No business experience whatsoever. The financial aid Shelyse allowed random people to access our student information which not only includes our address and money owed, but our social security numbers. I can count about 2 times that I have personally seen another students Social security number , and I had once seen a students debit/credit card. This school is unprofessional, and absolutely needs to be investigated. I would avoid attending this school at all costs. *** already told 4 of my friends to avoid it as theyve came to me after wanting to become estheticians. Im glad I have a bit of a following online so I can warn others. Definitely do your research, READ the contracts, dont let them make you sign without reading, and record any interactions you have with staff if possible. It could save you from the trouble and heartbreak myself and mi family have had to endure.
