      I'm contacting you on behalf of my elderly sister that was scammed of $3800 by this company in June 2023. She had an issue with her computer showing there was malicious activity and the phone number for this outfit showed up on her screen and she called them. She was convinced by this scam company that without a lifetime security license on her IP address, she will be vulnerable. My elderly sister provided them with the needed banking information (account number and routing information) for them to do an *** transfer immediately. She only has her written notes about the transaction, there wasn't a contract or agreement sent either via mail or email of this transaction. Her memory of this transaction is now limited and since I am her estate POA as of Nov 2023, I have been doing due diligence and auditing her bank account which is how this scam surfaced. The *** transfer refers to Novatech as the company that received the money. My wife called that company and there isn't any record of any monetary transaction. My wife also called numerous times Nexus IP Solutions and spoke with several so called case manager (***********************) and cash manager (***********************) who flatly denied scaming her and that this type of license can not be removed of the computer and no refund can be given. She is on a fixed income, moving to an assisted living facility in the next couple months, and this money should be returned to her. This is an obvious scam targeting the elderly and people that are not tech savvy. Appreciate your help in resolving this issue.

      Hello,

      I have already contacted the Attorney General and no luck, just a thank you and to contact internet fraud, but they actually want banking info and I'm not comfortable with that. The company has not to date contacted either my sister or myself. I was hoping for my sister's sake something could be done to recoup part of her money that she was scammed of.
