Usually if you don't do your job, you get fired. Usually if you mishandle someone's mail, you receive criminal charges. In the *************** ************* ************** on E Alameda Pkwy, both of these practices are commonplace. People bond their parcels to the **** which is a considerable trust that they're willing to pay for- the ****' core job is to manage expectations in a way that promises can be kept. The employees of this branch will not only fail in the most basic of tasks like delivering a package to the correct address, they will outright halt tracking with a bogus alert and refuse to answer their phone. **** Customer Support has no direct line to this branch, and are well-meaning but ultimately dispositioned as well by this branch's flagrant refusal to function. I'm told today that my package was returned to sender- and had I not proactively followed up, I would have never known. I was advised that signing up for tracking alerts might help- not so when the tracking itself has been sabotaged by the people entrusted to ensure that that same visibility remains in place. I've wasted three hours of my time listening to terrible holiday music and unlicensably bad music that will never play on any radio station and I have nothing to show for it. Employees failing their basic responsibilities is a problem that is unacceptable given the context. **** should be able to easily maintain a minimum-viable standard than putting customers in looping self-service systems that go nowhere and otherwise being unavailable to get back on track after cataclysmically fumbling one of their most basic tasks. **** Aurora- you can do better...get it together.

Thank you for the prompt followup.  I'm writing to inform you that the basis of my complaint has since been resolved (as requested)- I was able to get to the **** branch and retrieve my package, so I had been previously misinformed that it was returned.  Much of my complaint stands, as my time was wasted needlessly and the branch remains inaccessible by phone, so please let me know where to go from here
