    Complaint: 22849475

I have reviewed Mr. ******** response to my complaint and reject it entirely as irrelevant to addressing the core issue.

The fact remains that Mr. ******* arbitrarily decided not to complete the corrective work he had promised to fix the errors in the construction of our basement shower and to replace the kitchen backsplash, which was damaged due to the actions of his subcontractor during the countertop replacement.

As stated in my initial complaint, Mr. ******* acknowledged these deficiencies and, on multiple occasions in October and November 2024,assured usboth verbally and in writingthat he and his subcontractors would complete the necessary repairs at his expense. These commitments were clear and unambiguous.

I have repeatedly confirmed my willingness to release the holdback funds upon the satisfactory completion of the promised corrective work and remain committed to doing so. However, Mr. ******** failure to act raises concerns that he may believe the cost of rectifying these issues exceeds the value of the holdback. This is unfortunate, but should have been considered prior to making the commitment.

I remain deeply disappointed by Mr. ******** unwillingness to fulfill his obligations. However, I fully expect him to honor his commitments and complete the required repairs without further delay.

To resolve this matter, I request that Mr. ******* provide a written response within 14 days confirming a timeline for the completion of the outstanding work. If he continues to refuse to fulfill his contractual and ethical obligations, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter, including but not limited to pursuing legal action and filing a formal complaint with the appropriate regulatory bodies.

I hope we can resolve this amicably and look forward to Mr.******** immediate response.

    Sincerely,

    ******* ******

tational whereas I believe I have been conciliatory and looking for solutions to resolve the construction errors.I cannot believe that a long term businessman and contractor has arbitrarily decided not to make good on resolution of the errors he caused. We want Mr ******** to make good on his commitments and complete the work he promised to do.

    Business Response

    Date: 02/26/2025

Below is the note that I wrote to Mr. ****** on December 30, 2024. Please note the newly added section of additional information about how Mr. ***** and how he manipulates people with no regard of ethics.

After much consideration, I want to respond to your questions and next steps related to the backsplash and shower tile to avoid any further confusion. ****** and I discussed the demo and installation of your board kitchen counters. We agreed this is all we will do in your kitchen. We came to this decision based on the following facts:

Your backsplash was not damaged when we did the countertop replacement on November 23rd
You misrepresented yourself and our relationship to ****** in asking him to replace your laundry room
countertop without first discussing this with me. ****** was at your home representing Freedom
Remodeling when you asked him to install your old kitchen granite in your laundry room. Again, you never discussed this work with me and had you; I believe you know the cost of the work performed would have been much more than the $250 you paid ******.

Moving forward, Freedom Remodeling (************), or its sub-contractors will no longer do any work for you.

This decision has been made from the multiple issues noted above and below:
I am aware you have publicly talked negatively about Freedom Remodeling, my partners and myself.
I am aware you negativity discussed our business with **** ****** and **** *****.
I believe you have taken advantage of ************; its business discounts, its business relationships
           and myself.

These actions you have taken, have damaged FR&C LLC and my reputation in the business
community. Your balance owed to Freedom Remodeling (FR&C LLC) from your prior invoice is $2,459.60. Adding the additional materials purchased, the work of your laundry room and none refundable materials noted below; brings your total owed to $7,055.60. This balance, we will not be collecting.

**Additionally- Mr. ***** manipulated his relationship with Mr ***** the former owner of Aim Hi HVAC. Mr. ****** contracted Mr ***** do HVAC and electrical work for compensation in his basement remodel fully knowing that he had a no compete agreement/contract with *********** from when Mr. **** sold his company.

I want nothing to do with this Mr ****** or house as he manipulates the truth and others to his advantage.

Ive moved on and ask he does the same.
