This is my second complaint regarding this company for a different reason. I hired them in November ******************************************** a fire. After many issues, it was complete in August 2022. I was notified on Friday 9/16/22 by a plumber (*********************************) that he was forced to file a lien against my home for unpaid work by Statewide. I paid my entire insurance payout to Statewide up front. I contacted a manager at Statewide (********************* ************) and was told the company was permanently closed as of 9/16/22. He let me know they were not given any notice and the investment firm (RF ******************** terminated the entire company on 9/16/22. I was told the owner of the ****************** is ******************************* *************). ********************* let me know he is contacting class action lawyers and news outlets regarding this. I know I am one of many affected by this. I am lucky that at least my home is complete, but have concern over more potential liens that *** come my way. I need help and so do many members of the community who have hired them for fire restoration services.

I believe that our family was involved in a breach of contract with a local affiliate (In ********) of a ********** based business. The company in question is a restoration company and showed up on the scene of our house fire on 19Jan2020, unrequested or solicited. They promised to handle EVERYTHING involved with returning our home to livable condition. Salvaging, cleaning, storing and returning what could be saved and disposing of what could not, within 6 to 9 months and make our home "better than new" because home would be rebuilt to 2020 building codes and not ****, when home was originally built.2 years, 8 months, and counting, our home is still not in livable condition. We have been forced to pay monthly storage fees for our salvaged belongings. We are paying daily hotel costs because time ran out on amount allowable with our insurance company (USAA) and although they promised to cover these costs, due to the extended amount of time they were taking to complete repairs, we have since been asked to leave the temporary housing that the insurance company put us in, due to poor payment history and cessation of payment altogether. They have now ceased paying for hotel they put us in, claiming home is in livable condition, even though it is not. They are also refusing to supply contracted for products and services since they have received all the money they will get from our insurance company. The quality of work has also suffered greatly since then.We really need assistance and this company should be held to account, civilly and criminally since we are not the only family they have done this to and have acted with obvious malice and impunity.Thank you.Sent from my ******** 5G Device
