The contractor has not provided a warranty on the roof replacement, gutter replacement and the solar powered attic fan as promised. The last contact we had with this contractor was in late October 2024 when he picked up 1/2 payment. He said he would get the warranties to me. He also took the screen from our garage to be repaired and never returned it. (this was part of the bid)We did not hear from him so I sent him final payment in November 2024 and have not heard back. I contacted him again via email on January 29, 2025 requesting the warranty and to return the screen he took still no response. We are planning to sell our home and need to have the warranties to cover the hail proof roof etc. gutters and attic fan as promised. I would like to be reimbursed for the cost to replace the screen $70 (per Ace)We are concerned if we were to have a problem with any of the above we do not know who else to contact since he does not respond.I would like the type of shingles installed with the warranty The warranty for the gutters installed The warranty of the attic fan the cost to replace the screen $70 to be mailed to me

I'm very sorry that this hasn't been resolved to date. I will mail a check for $70 today, and send out the warranty paperwork either this afternoon, or tomorrow.

I am rejecting this response because:

The Warranty does not have any dates on the services provided or any vendors names as to who would be covering the warranty. All I received is a generic warranty against Manufactures material defects.  Nothing from the product company itself.   If for any reason Colorado Roof Assist goes out of business I have no proof of warranty.   I need the name of the gutters brand, installer information since it is not the person Colorado Roof Assist had contracted with.  When the gutter installers arrived ***** said it was the wrong company and told us to tell they to leave.  Later we found out the roofer had told them to come and install without notifying  Colorado Roof Assist.  Then we were told all is ok and ***** would have his gutter person ******** come and inspect which he never did.

    1) need a dated copy of the warranty How many year are the shingles warranty for *****? From the ******* manufacture.  They usually give you a pamphlet explains exactly what is covered.

2). need the name of company for the gutter install and a manufacture warranty pamphlet dated

    3) need Colorado roof assist to have the gutter person ******** com and inspect the gutter inspection as promised

    4) need Colorado Roof Assist to provide a company information and manufacture warranty on the Lomanco 2000 Power Vent. dated

I need more than a generic non dated, non signed piece of paper that just states manufactures warranty against material defects.  I have attached the doc received.

The only thing that was received that was accepted was the check for the screen

    Sincerely,

    ***** *******

We hired this Company to replace the roof on our home in *********. We were selling the home at the time and the roofers were working up to November 15, the date of our move.I learned recently that the roof had not Been inspected by the town of *********. We have been trying to contact ***************************, GM of Colorado Roof Assist for approximately 3 months. As we did not hear anything from him, we were forced to hire another *************** to secure a ladder to the roof of a home we no longer owned in order to allow the Town of ********* to inspect the roof. Unfortunately, the roof did not pass inspection and we will need to hire another Company to repair the roof at an additional cost. We had signed a contract with Colorado Roof Assist which was not completed, putting us in a bad situation. We had paid the Company ****** as requested but the contract has not been paid in full as the Contract had not been completed. We are not requesting money, just completion of the project as well as warning any future Home Owners NOT to hire this Company.

There is no excuse for the lack of communication with our customer about their project. I have been in touch with the homeowners since this complaint was filed and have completed the work, reimbursed them for expenses incurred and given a $3000 discount on the work for their troubles.
