      I bought an online class from Spectrum EEO, 32 hour online EOO Investigator certification. I paid my $997 back in December of 2021 drafted from my financial institution account 1/17/22 and received my certificate after taking a 32 hr. course. I have been waiting since December ****************************** on my next step even as I am sending this email dated September 19, 2022. I made numerous call and left numerous messages and yet no one from your office has reached back out to me. Each phone call that I have made result in someone will answer the phone get the information, place me on hold return to my call to say no one is available can I take a message ***** the message as urgent). I have also requested to have my money returned back to me again no response. I don't have almost $1000 just laying around to donate. At this point I am not interested in joining with this company (Spectrum EEOC *****************************************************************************************. I just want my money back.

      We have researched this complaint and have confirmed that the customer took the online training and received her a professional certification when she successfully completed the course.  Because course content is proprietary, we have a no refund policy once students have fully accessed the course and received a certification.  Our customer support team has been in contact with this customer and explained to her that the cost of the course and the professional certification does not carry with it any guarantee of employment.  We also noted that she was added to our communication list where we notify all students of internship and external job opportunities as we are made aware of them as an additional benefit that we offer to students.  However, this training course, like most professional certifications, does not provide any guarantee job placement following certification. It appears she is requesting a refund because she wants additional job placement services.  We are not able to offer her a reimbursement for this reason.    We will of course keep her on the list to be notified of upcoming internship opportunities and job opportunities that we are sent through the industry.  Please let us know if there is anything else needed to support the response to this complaint.

      I am rejecting this response because: Please see the attached email time stamped the communication that I have had.  I have numerous phone contact logs of trying to get in touch with a representative to see what was the next step and was unsuccessful.  Please also see the advertisement that states what I was also needing clarification on.

      On April 3rd, 2022 I bought an online class from Spectrum EEO, 32 hour online EOO Investigator certification. I received a link to start the class but it is an 8 hour refresher that is offered to certified investigators. I have called multiples times asking that this is corrected but they take messages and no one calls me back. I email, attached document and did not get a response to my email. When I call I am assured that someone will call me but they cannot even reach out to the "manager" they attempt to call. I trusted this company but they did not deliver the service.

      Our company had suffered some impacts due to COVID-19 with our staff and third-party vendors that created a backlog in communications during the time period of the correspondence referenced in the complaint.

      **************, as reported, contained a typographic error and was mislabeled as an 8-hour course. This content has been retired and replaced with new material. 

      The ******************* system has also been upgraded and ****************** has been given access to this content located at: https://spectrumeeo.talentlms.com/

      sign-in instructions were sent to the customer email address on record on 6/23/2022.

      We ask that ****************** review the updated material in full and if he finds the content to be legally insufficient for the role of EEO Investigator, we will happily process a refund in full.

      Also, as a Certified EEO Investigator, he will be required to attend refresher training to maintain Certification. We would like to offer ****************** this refresher training free of charge for one year for any inconvenience that he may have experienced.

      I am rejecting this response because: I tried many times to get this resolved by calling and email with no response. Now they are saying that I need a legally valid reason to get a refund. What about no calls or emails for two months? I already signed up for the class with another company. I called today to see if I could finally speak with someone and one more time no one is available to talk to me. I request a refund as a resolution to my complaint.

      Paid for EEO 32 Hour Certification on May 7, 2022 for $997.00 as a debit. When you click on launch course it is a different course called EEO Refresher which is the other certification program that significantly less. The course also has the same quiz with the same answers throughout the course, which a student cannot learn.I was not able to finish the course because I noticed the errors and wrong course assigned from what I paid. I sent emails and contacted them for assistance, May 17-May 24, 2022, to no avail. I have never received an acknowledgement of my email, nothing. When I called, the representative asked if anyone responded I said no. They kept referring me to the following email address *********************************** which is the same email address I have been using to get information. I am limited on time and the original course I purchased is done in 32 hours - four days. The point is no one contacted me, nor assist me. I believe it is a scam having a different course with so many issues than what I paid for. I requested for a refund because they did not provide the promised product, service and assistance for what I paid. I gave them until May 27, 2022 to respond again, but I am afraid they still will not respond. BBB is my only option. Thank you. P.S.
