ServPro lied and left me with defective flooring after taking my money I hired Servpro to do water mitigation due to water damage on my floors. The final laminate floors had several defects all over them (scrapes, glue/silicone drips, footprints, etc.) You couldn't miss them wherever you look. Servpro had sub-contracted Empire Today to do the flooring. However, an employee from Servpro also did some work on my baseboards. Both Servpro and ************ sent managers and they both acknowledged the numerous defects and promised to fix/replace the floors.Shortly after the inspection, I found out that $1800 worth of gold jewelry went missing from a room that the contractors used. A police report was filed, and my flooring issues were "paused" waiting for Servpro's legal team to decide how to move forward.A few days later, ******** (manager) of Servpro ******** Denver wrote me in an email that Empire Today told them that "They will not have any more involvement, and my project has been passed onto their legal team. ******** said Servpro is done with my project. After I received this email from Servpro, I was able to contact Empire Today directly. A senior manager was surprised that ServPro told me Empire was not responding anymore. The manager said we will fix your floors "because it's the right thing to do". And they did it! They didn't charge me a single *****.Servpro lied about Empire Today and used that as an excuse to walk away from extremely defective flooring. Although ServPro said, over 2 months ago, that they are willing to pay us the cost of the stolen jewelry, to this day, I still haven't received any compensation for the jewelry.
