Brock laid a 16x14 ft concrete pad for my at my residence (******************************************************) on 3/24 for a total of $4,100 USD (Cash). After the concrete cured, we noticed that it was chipping and holding water from a recent snow storm. I texted him pictures of the pad on 3/31 and he said he would come out and level that area the following week (4/3 - 4/7). He did not show up that week, and ignored my texts and calls for about another 5-7 days. To this day he has not been to the house to look at the pad or fix it (5/1).After being ignored I called another concrete company to get their opinion. They mentioned that since it was poured while snowing and raining the concrete did not settle correctly and that the pad was going to hold water. They gave me two options. 1. resurfacer and level it out (temporary fix) or 2. take out and put a new one in. I went with option 2 because i want it done right. I asked Brock for a refund, not the whole amount because i know people make mistakes but he is still ignoring me. I'm just asking for half of the labor cost which is about $1500 out of the $4100 that i paid him. After the new concrete pad was taken out by the new contractor we also noticed that the wire he used for concrete was not the correct material and the pad was cracked within 2-3 years anyway along with holding water. It's obvious he doesn't have a business license and probably not paying taxes either.

Brock ***** is his name. Pretty sure he doesn't own a business and is avoiding taxes. His address and phone number are correct though

I laid a 16x14 ft concrete pad for residence (******************************************************) on 3/24. While working *** was very happy and commented on me being on time and working so hard. The next day, I came back to remove the forms, he  mentioned him and his dog walked on the pad because he had forgetten about me reminding him to stay off until cured.  After the concrete cured, we noticed that it was chipping and holding water from a recent snow storm. (how would I to know that a storm would be coming and how this would effect the concrete?) Since I wanted him to be happy, I responded to the pictures of the pad on 3/31 and  said I would come out and level that area when I had an opening. I had an opening and reached out about the time and he had decided against what we had discussed and hired a different company. Since he torn out the concrete I had laid, there was no reason for me to go to his house or have further contact. He continued to write everyday until I finally blocked his number. He then procceed to contact my mother in law via ******** and prank called my wife. Still to this day he is emailing threats about what he will do to me and if I try to open a bussines. I have stayed silent and only kind when respodning. *** has now posted to various ******** groups and continues to email.
