    HIRED B-TOWN PLUMBING TO REMODEL BASEMENT BATHROOM, AFTER ALLOWING B-TOWN EMPLOYEE BEGIN PROJECT, OUR SEWAGE PUMP WENT OUT AND BEGAN BACKING UP SEWAGE WATER INTO OUR BASEMENT. WE HAULTED THE PROJECT AT THIS TIME TO FIX THE PUMP, AND IN DOING SO FOUND THE PUMP FAILURE WAS DUE TO CONTRACTOR POURING GROUT DOWN TOILET, WHICH CAUSE CONCERN SO WE HAD ANOTHER COMPANY COME LOOK AT THE BATHROOM THEN SUBSEQUENTLY 3 MORE AND ALL OTHER PROFESSIONALS STATED ENTIRE JOB WAS BOTCHED AND WOULD HAVE BE TORN OUT AND REDONE COMPLETELY. WE ARE SEEKING TO BE REFUNDED ALL MONEY PAID TO ORIGINAL CONTRACTOR FOR LABOR AS WELL AS REIMBURSED FOR THE MATERIAL COST AS NONE OF THE ORIGINAL MATERIAL WILL BE ABLE TO BE SALVAGED AND/OR REUSED. WE ARE NOT INCLUDING THE AMOUNT IT WILL COST FOR ANOTHER COMPANY TO DO THE DEMOLITION OF THE ORIGINAL JOB. WE BELIEVE WE ARE BEING VERY REASONABLE DESPITE THE DAMAGE TO OUR HOME AND THE DETAILS OF THE SITUATION. WE ATTEMPTED SEVERAL TIMES TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEM TO COME TO AN AGREEMENT BUT NOTHING WAS ABLE TO BE MADE.

    This entire situation was one big mess with friendships involved. We finally came to a compromise and it was made right between my company and the homeowner. They got all there money back that they had spent on job. He said that he had emailed bbb to cancel complaint and he is now satisfied.
