    I was over charged $496.00 dollars than i was quoted

    *************** to you concerning a complaint filed by *******************
    against my company, C.R. Smith Drilling, ****.  **************, *****
    *******, replaced a submersible pump for ************ at the end of July,
    2023.  When the installation was complete ************ insisted that *****
    take pictures of two different credit cards to run as payment.  *****
    explained he didn't want to do that until an invoice had been generated
    for ************ to review.  ************ then said, "It's fine - just run the
    cards".  We ran the cards according to the instructions ************ gave
    *****, $1000.00 on one card and the rest of the balance due on the
    second card.  Several days later ************ called and was very upset and
    explained that the amount on the second card was a problem and cut him
    short of funds.  He wanted $496.00 back from us temporarily.  He said
    that he would pay back the money in a couple of months.  We wrote him a
    check for $496.00 and the check cleared the bank.  We reached out to Mr.
    **** last week and he arranged to repay the outstanding balance on
    Monday of this week (October 9, 2023), which he did.

    I believe that this matter has been settled to the satisfaction of both
    ************ and our company.
