--********************** call me and said the  **** F250 has a massive oil leak and the engine quit running on 8-1-23. He had vehicle towed in and we diagnose the high pressure oil pump was leaking externally.  ********************** authorized  the replacement of the high pressure oil pump. We replace the pump, before trying to start vehicle I checked the oil in the engine. There was very little oil in the engine. I added 12 quarts of oil to the engine. Started engine test drove vehicle for 3 miles, when returning back to the shop the engine starting knocking. The next morning I started  **** **** F250 and the engine knock was worsen. We call ********************** and told him him the engine had a rod knock  due to the lack of oil and recommend replacing the engine. ********************** declined the repairs. A month  later he came and picked  the vehicle up and drove it away, and called me, it broke down and there was no oil in the engine. We told him to tow the vehicle back to the shop and we would look at it. i. He declined.  This vehicle was towed in to my shop and did not run in July 2023 the engine ran with very little oil before the oil pump repair.  Also we recommended replacing the high oil pressure pump back in June 2023. He declined repair. In goodwill I did not charge ********************** any labor just parts for the high pressure pump repair. I Talked to the shop that the vehicle was towed to and they diagnosed that there was engine oil in the cooling system. So either a cracked block, cylinder head or the oil cooler in the radiator leaking oil is the problem.

    Hello,
This is my statement of things pertaining to my truck and the shop, Canyon Automotive. Early July I drove my truck over to Canyon automotive. I had spoken to *** that answers the phone. I had inquired about having services done to my truck. I was specific about what work I needed done to my truck. I had just a week before taking my truck to Canyon Automotive, installed new valve cover gaskets w/ wiring harness for the injectors and glow plugs. They had no damage to them. I asked them to replace the injector o-rings and the injector cups. That was all I needed done. They a some tests on my truck and stated that they thought there may be a problem with my high pressure oil pump due(****) to the long start. I declined work on the **** and asked they only do the work I requested. On July 24, 2023, I went to pick up my truck and pay for the work done there was a charge for a new set of valve cover gaskets and the total was more than the quote. I asked about the gaskets they took off, they had throw them and all other parts away without allowing me to see them. Their reason the bill was more than the quote was, it took longer than expected but they never called me with updates or problems that I wouldve had to authorize. I checked the oil in my truck before I started it and proceeded to start after seeing correct oil levels. After starting my truck I drove home approximately 8 miles and parked it. I checked the oil in the morning before starting my truck. Approximately 1.5 miles from my job I is a 3 way stop. It was at that place where my truck hesitated when I pressed the accelerator to go forward. It shuddered for a second then continued on without any more hesitation. I arrived at work parked and proceeded with my day. I received a call from a work colleague that my truck had a large oil puddle under it. When I arrived back at work I checked my trucks engine bay and oil levels. There was oil located in the valley underneath the pedestal which holds the turbo. I called the shop and told them the situation. They told me to bring it back and they would inspect it. I paid a tow service to take it back on August 3, 2023. They told me that the back of my **** was broken and it would have to be replaced. I asked them to wait because it was only 2 years old so I checked to see if it was still under warranty. It was not so I asked them to replace it. I received a call my truck was ready so I arranged a time to go and pay the bill and pick up my truck. When I arrived I tried to start the truck and it would not start. The mechanic that worked on my truck stated he had driven my truck 10 miles at 60 mph and there was no issues. I didnt hear back from them for a few days so I called to get an update. *** proceeded to tell me that they were able to get my truck started using starting fluid (ether) but then shut it down because it started making a loud rattling noise. He then stated my engine may be bad. I called another mechanic to diagnose my truck. The mechanic came out connected to my truck to a computer proceeded to turn the engine over to try to start the truck. It did not make any weird rattle noise upon turning it over and after some time got it started. Once my truck was started, it began pushing coolant out of the overflow tank on the radiator. We let the truck run for a few minutes shut it down started it again let it run for a few more minutes shut it down again throughout this whole time while it was running it was pushing out coolant , the mechanic standing next to the truck had no idea what was going on. On November 14 I arrived at canyon automotive started. My truck went inside to pay. The bill came outside drove my truck off. I was less than 2 miles away when my truck blew out, a large white cloud of smoke, lost oil pressure and shut down , I called the mechanics shop again and told them what was going on. They got rude with me and told me to take it to another shop that they have their money. I had it towed to another mechanic who spent five minutes diagnosing it and found oil in my radiator reservoir , he is doing his best to make a statement with his diagnosis of what couldve happened because this as soon as I receive it, I will forward it to you.
    Thank you,
