I was promised that my three ************************************* via mail by an associate named *** when he received the negatives from the lab and then I was told that the negatives were received. I was then emailed by an associate named *** stating that the couriers car had been impounded by the police and was given no further information about this. There was no reason whatsoever that my property should have been placed in a couriers car at all given I was promised they would be mailed to me and should have been sent directly from the store. When I finally received the negatives in the mail they were not wrapped, scratched, cut improperly..cropping the frame of some of the photos and covered in dust from the crumbled packing peanuts used in the box. This is no way to treat delicate negatives and I am sure they are fully aware of this. When I confronted victory camera and sent them photos of the damaged negatives they told me to take my business elsewhere. First of all I wouldnt even consider doing business with them again after what transpired and I think they need to take full responsibility for carelessly damaging my property in this way. Film negatives are extremely delicate and throwing them in a box with crumbling ***** packing peanuts is completely unprofessional especially after they were stuck in an impounded car that they never should have been in in the first place. When I asked about the status of the impound and how long it would take for them to return my property they had no answer for me but to call the police with no case number or name of the courier even though I explained to them how important it was for me to have the negatives back. I not only felt disrespected by the way this was handled but also by the fact that they damaged my negatives and refused to take responsibility or accountability for their actions in a dismissive and apathetic manner.
