      Steves carpet care did an amazing job. They got our shop many stains from my kids and dogs. They were professional and they machines were amazing

      I was disappointed with the service this time. We used to use their services for years for our home and rentals, but it was ******************** now. I'm wondering if there's new management in the past few years. I booked online with the rooms I wanted and got a quote for $260 which is higher than we used to pay. I decided to do it anyway. When the guy got here, he tried all the up sell tricks that other companies do and is why I don't use them anymore. The price should be straight forward. I showed the guy around and all the rooms and spots I wanted focused on. He tried to sell the stain remover, but I said that I wanted to try the regular cleaning first and if spots remained to go back and work them. He said he couldn't do that, so I declined the extra spot remover. He then told me the price would be $399. I was surprised and said I didn't want the extras he had added. Part of it was a closet that I thought was going to be free, but he charged me for. I told him to go ahead with the $266 and he couldn't do it for that and was going to leave. I asked him to call the office to see what they could do. He said they couldn't change the price. I got on the phone with the office and told them if he left I would be upset. He finally agreed to clean for the price I booked it for, but skipped the bathroom and closet without telling me. After he left, I saw that none of the spots came out, it is a stationmaster type carpet too. I called the office and told them he skipped 2 rooms that I clearly told him I wanted done and that the carpet didn't look really clean. The co-owner finally called me back after a week and supported the worker fully. He did come a week later and cleaned the bathroom, but told me he wouldn't do our carpets again. The areas he cleaned actually got clean, so I'm not sure why the 1st cleaning didn't. I suspect the guy didn't use soap. I wouldn't recommend their service.
