On January 28, 2023 I purchased video software from Cyberlink for the PowerDirector365 package. Since then, I have been working on creating a wedding for my wedding on 10/21/23. Yesterday, when launching the software, I was forced to do an upgrade to a newer version. The video is comprises of dozens of collage photos I put together. Immediately following the upgrade, the photos in the video collages disappeared. I called customer service and they insisted the only way they can help is for us to send materials to them to research. But it took over two hours of fighting with them to even get to this point. Upon further research, we learned that they have no way to house the materials they want us to send to them. We have to set up a dropbox or ****** drive to share with them. Yesterday, after tremendous pushback from customer service I finally got a manager on the phone. He did acknowledge that we could roll back to the prior version. When we realized that Cyberlink does not offer a place to send materials for them to research, we called today to request to roll back our service to the prior version. Today, we received more pushback stating the only way they can help is if we send the materials to them through a third party site. In addition, when playing the video externally, it has a watermark which it should NOT since I am a paying subscriber. Just about the worst customer service ever.

I wanted to add to my complaint against Cyberlink PowerDirector. In my complaint, I indicated they will only assist with my technical issue if I send them a list of materials (called ********** materials) so they can investigate the case. All I want to do is rollback to the older version that worked just fine. I had zero issues until right after the forced upgrade, The materials they require to research can only be sent to them using a paid service through Dropbox or Google. They do not have their own site to upload the documents. For a paid service (I purchased a one year subscription through Cyberlink) there should be appropriate support so the consumer is not required to pay for another service in order to rectify the issue.

    Thanks,
