    Our family was extremely frustrated and disillusioned with the mental health treatment program at ************************* (BHI). Their advertising and website stress a flexible personal treatment plan, tailored to the client for mental health therapy and during initial interviews, they reiterated this commitment, however once they received their payment in advance, no treatment plan was provided and the advertised flexibility was only schedule-based not treatment oriented for the Integrated Outpatient Program. Specifically, group therapy meetings had limited attendance of 1-3 patients and the program mixed both addiction and mental patients who had dissimilar treatment needs and therefore limited value. Our family and the patient reached out numerous times to the program director for assistance in modifying our treatment approach to an outpatient program, but they were unwilling to offer any flexibility until the prescriptive IOP program was completed regardless of treatment value and our experience suggests that BIH is tailored predominantly to Addiction Therapy and clients who seek mental health assistance should look elsewhere.
