Three of my riding classes were cancelled by Boulder Equestrian Center for various reasons (teacher was short-handed, weather, illness) and the normal procedure is to provide students opportunities for makeups. Although in the fall of 2023 BEC gave me a $220 refund for four classes because they cancelled all classes due to scheduling problems in building a new arena and they did not have 4 classes available for me that fall. So they have refunded my money in the past. When I showed up for my final summer class on 8/9/24 **** *****, Head Trainer, informed me ***** ******* was closing BEC and no further classes would be offered. I told her I had three paid-for lessons that cost me $180. She offered makeups until the horses were sold which could be any day. I was going out of town 8/14 to 8/18 so I suggested doing two 1 1/2 hour classes vs 3 hourlong to try to get them all in. We did one hour and a half class and scheduled the second hour and a half class. When I showed up on August 19 for my second hour and a half class, Eden had forgotten about my class and booked another person in that time slot. I did not get a lesson that day. We rescheduled for a couple days later but the lesson horses were sold by then and she could no longer provide classes for that reason. She asked ***** ******* multiple times to give me a refund for $82.50 for that last hour and a half class. He never has. I sent him two email requests asking for my refund and he has never responded nor venmoed me the $82.50. It has been a month. He clearly has no intention of paying me for a class and a half which was never given to me but paid for. He is trying to sell the place and just recently after I wrote a review two days ago listed BEC (on their website) as "temporarily closed." I would like you to intervene to get him to give me the refund due me. Thank you.
