About a year ago, my wife and I opened an account with "********************." ************ was formerly known as ******* Cheap Flights and is still listed as a part of that business. We never used our subscription and quickly forgot about it until a couple days ago when we were billed for an auto renew for another year's subscription. We immediately reached out to Going to cancel our account and request a refund since we have never used this service. In order to submit the request form, we were forced to check a box that, paradoxically, indicated that by checking the box, we agree that we cannot get a refund? What kind of total c*** and complete nonsense is this? It is actually an illegal tactic and the only time we have ever seen a company do this across tens and tens of accounts that we have. Hi there,
Currently, we have no account associated with the email ***********************, so you may have deleted it. If you were charged within 30 days, you have the option to self service request a refund (****************************************************************************************), and if you delete your account before asking for a refund, that's why the checkbox exists. Once deleted our payment information becomes anonymous (not tied to the email, since there is no account) so we'd have to find you via billing information.
If you reach out to ********************************** with your billing information (last 4, expiration, billing zip, date of charge, amount of charge) we can look into the payment in the system to help. I'm so sorry about the confusion with the screenshot you sent, so I'll bring this up to the product team, but I want to be clear that we have a path for refunds (within 30 days of charge) and a path for account deletion (which you saw). It wasn't a bait and switch or a meaningful flow - if eligible, we want to help you get your refund.

In May of 2023 on the sixth of that month I had forgotten to cancel my free trial from Scottscheapflights.com and therefore was charged $36 when I noticed the charge I then promptly cancelled it so as not to repeat the mistake. Thinking that was the end of it I put it out of my mind. Until December 30th of 2023 when I saw another charge from them for $24. I immediately sent them an email asking them why they charged me and they responded and said that back in may my free trial expired which started a monthly subscription. I told them that I canceled that subscription and if that were true then why didnt I get charged in the months between may and December? And I also asked them how did they get my new debit card information as the card I had in April/may of last year hadnt been active for quite a while. In which the replied that I had to have given it to them otherwise they wouldnt have it. That is absolutely not true as I have not had contact with them prior to to the initial email to inquire about the charge in December since May. I told them I wanted them to refund my money and delete my information as I was done with them. They contacted me several more times asking me for information stating they were going to refund my money and just gave me the run around lying to me and stalling. I contacted my bank to try to dispute the charge and that is currently pending. I informed them of this and told them that I would be reporting them to the better business bureau and was going to look into possible theft chargesInitial Complaint

On July 15, 2023, I upgraded my Limited Membership to an Elite Membership using my **************** card. After viewing the flight information provided by this upgraded membership, I decided to cancel the Elite Membership and did so online the same day on your website.Upon receiving my credit card statement, I noticed that there was a charge for the membership on July 15, 2023 in the amount of $213.43. After disputing this charge with the credit card company I was notified that I must contact you directly to dispute this charge.I assure you that I cancelled the membership as indicated and would greatly appreciate the refund to my credit card account for the full amount. 7/19/2023. In beginning to create an account with this company called Going ie Scotts Cheap Flights, I discovered a bait and switch, including a cost not foreclosed up front. On April 4, 2023, a charge was made on my credit card in the amount of $49.00 for ******* Deals on airline flights. I canceled this membership so I don't now why they keep charging me. I did get what I thought was a 1 yr membership for $39.95 in 02/22. I didn't set up an acct. or ever use their service. With no notice I was charged $51.45 on 03/08/23. I disputed this with my credit card so ******* cheap flights cancelled my paid subscription but won't offer a refund because I didn't cancel before the charge. Unless I'm psychic how would I know without any notice from them. This scam company seems to only be in business to scam people & should be shut down.Initial Complaint

I have a mysterious charge from this company I've attempted several times to call and cancel this membership but it just goes to voicemail with this company. They won't allow me to cancel this because I don't have access to the email associated so I've been emailing these people over and over. I seek a refund because I no longer required this service please assist me with this. I agreed to a 14-day trial of a Premium travel service to be advised of special discount flights principally from ******** to *********, ******. I had to give my credit card information and they were to charge me $39 + tax after the trial period. I then would have access to the paid site, Premium. I would check the site from time to time and my membership stayed at the FREE limited access. I could not get access to what I paid for. I did not question that because I assumed my card was not charged. I recently reviewed my **** charges looking for a particular charge (not *******) and then saw ******* Cheap Flights did indeed charge me $40.76 on March 08, 2022. I asked several times for my money back as I NEVER was allowed access to what I paid for. The representative stated I will be canceled, with no refund. See the email. When I clicked on my account profile it clearly states I am a limited free member. I printed out my billing info, which shows the limited plan, but I could not print out my name. That's suspicious. I enclose the email response I finally received. I was accused of not using the correct email when I signed into my account. That is bogus as the supporting documents prove my email used was ******************* and that is the only email I used. This company is not operating honestly. I signed up for a free trial membership which then turned into a one year membership. I called the company to cancel my membership before the one year anniversary. They charged my cc card and renewed my membership anyway. When I disputed the charge with my cc card company they finally called me back to say that all cancellations must be done via email. They claimed to have sent me an email informing me that they would be charging my cc card. They said it probably went to my junk folder since I didnt get it. Still knowing that I wanted to cancel. They charged my card again and will not issue a refund. Their tactics are sneaky and dishonest. During the one year that I was a member they provided no service whatsoever.
