    Last October I hired Rodney (or Randy depending on which messaging service used) Rowland to install new countertops throughout my house along with a little demo to facilitate the new countertops. Contract was signed and 50% down payment “for materials” was paid right away. He told me the bank put a hold on the transfer and couldn’t start until he has the money for materials so I sent him the last 50% by another means of transfer. He verified he got that transaction and gave me a date to start. He did send someone to the house to check it out prior to all of this… the first appointment was missed by him, then then next, then the next, one excuse after another.. told me at one point his workers had the material in their van the next town over and will come over right when that’s done, still nothing… then communication stopped for about two week, (the friend who referred him said he is in jail). Got out then contacted me again, more broken promises of appointments. At this point in time it’s roughly December 2021, and he disappears again indefinitely. My friend who knows him and referred him said they he has picked up a bit of a meth problem and has recently ripped off multiple other clients of his. At this point he still won’t answer calls, texts, emails, ********… nothing. He got away with just under $7000 of mine with zero work done. The last time I did talk to him I said I wanted a refund and he said he would have it to me in a week. Still haven’t seen it.
