    On April 5, 2022, I placed a deposit of $2,224.00 for a whole beef and a whole pork with a promised delivery of May. On June 2, $740.00, and June 4, $1,330.00, totalling $4,294. On August 19, Alex M***** delivered the beef, and promised the pork that weekend. Proposed resolution is delivery of pork or refund of that part of meat purchase.

    Hello, 

    We received an order from Sherry for beef and pork. We delivered the beef as agreed. 
    As we explained to Sherry multiple times the pork is processed through an outside vendor beyond our control.  We have been delayed several times. 
    Sherry had paid her deposit with a credit card stated she had reversed the charge. It is our understanding she received her deposit for the pork only as she received her beef. 

    This has become a case of now she wants her "pound of flesh". 

    Either she wants the product or doesn't. With the understanding we do not cure and process the pork. That entire process is contracted outside and off premises. 

    We have not heard from her as to this issue.  We have requested information from the credit card company they stated it will take a few days.  We are out of town but are working on this.  

    Let me know what we need to do

    I have a call into the credit card company to make sure the status of the credit.  I will give you an update.

    Thank you for bring this issue to my attention.  If it was not for you I would have not known the issue.  I had not had communication from the customer.  Can not fix issues if I do not know about them.

    *****’s credit will be going back on to the credit card she used .  I will follow up with the card processing company.  It may take a few days for them to get back to me.

    I am rejecting this response because: the amount of the refund, $734.00, was not listed. The bank, ***** *****, has told me a refund was not initiated by the business. As of now, ** says there is no record of Double Diamond M contacting them. When the full refund is completed, I would be happy to change this response.

    This is a copy of the credit to ***** from Double Diamond M Meat done back on March 19 like I told you it would she received the beef the only thing owed to her was for the whole pork $734

    I am rejecting this response because: it looks like Jane is claiming she issued a refund for the pork last June, and that I owe her money. My bank has been very clear that no such action took place.  The beef was finally delivered in August.  Jane also continued to text me until November promising delivery of said pork. Why would she do that if she had truly issued a refund? It was also a misspelling of my name, which means it was not an official bank memo, but one Jane would have put in her own ledger. I still maintain she owes me the full pork or the full refund for the pork.

    The bank did a search on the amount and found it posted a week later than refund issued, under a different name. Thank you for resolving the issue.
