I cancelled my service and after going back and forth with them several times they finally granted me a cancellation and they sent me an email stating that my account was paid in full and I would not be billed again. Today they just billed me.

Late May 2023 I met with OBEX Pest Defense representative in person to discuss ***** problems at two units where I am the landlord and have tenants living in those units. We discussed a few treatments and I never agreed nor was it explained that they require a long-term agreement for their services. I signed an electronic device that day (thinking it was for the initial services I requested never long-term) and I never received any contract or signed agreement from **** at that initial meeting and only was provided this document after I called to complain and cancel due to unsatisfactory results over 4-months. My tenants didnt want **** service and I wanted to cancel any future work. I had paid $120 for initial service on one unit that was completed. I paid another $120 for month 2 and 3 and the tenant refused their service so I paid for those months and **** didnt treat due to tenant refusal and their lack of faith in their service and unsatisfactory results. I am now receiving past due bills for services I never agreed nor would have agreed to commit to with **** (had I received proper explanation on their terms.) I feel they took advantage of me and the situation with my units and actually myself and my tenants were thoroughly disappointed in the initial treatments by ****. I paid for those initial treatments (totaling $540) and when I called to cancel any future treatments they told me there was a $520 fee to end or break-up with ****. Again, I never was told up front from the **** representative or was ever told there were cancellation charges or break-up fee? I feel it falls within predatory sales practices to myself and the public. Im anticipating **** will turn over to a collection agency and Ive offered to compromise on their break-up fee and pay $120 to resolve the matter. I feel this is fair as Ive paid for multiple treatments not even provided.
