    We utilized American Home Warranty to file a claim to have the hot water pressure in our master bathroom on the main level fixed on 4/26/2024 and they dispatched POSEIDON PLUMBING to do the work. POSEIDON PLUMBING Came to our home on 4/29/2024 and adjusted the pressure behind the shower handle. On 5/24/2024 we noticed mold growing behind the shower wall in our closet. We didnt know what was causing the mold at that time so tried to clean it and spray with mold spray. On 6/7/2024 we discovered water leaking into the basement level bathroom directly under our master shower. This caused significant damage to the basement ceiling and carpet and appeared to be leaking for some time. We then shut off the main water and called the plumber 6/8/2024 with no response. We called again on Monday 6/10/2024 and the plumber came back and again adjusted something behind the shower k*** and said hes not liable for the work or leak. We had a restoration company come the evening of 6/10/2024 to inspect the damage and they said there was obvious mold and moisture and the water had been leaking over 30 days which coincides with the plumbers initial work. Plumber and At Home Warranty will not provide the plumbers insurance for us to file a claim to have damage mitigated. I explained to the plumber that the leak and mold are directly behind the wall where he messed with the faucet handle and he refuses to take accountability. He also failed to provide us with any invoice/work order detailing exact work done or warranty.Company name: POSEIDON PLUMBING owner *********************** *****************

    Hi ******, 

    I received a request for response of our complaint to see if it has been resolved. I dont have an option to reply directly from the complaint. This has not been resolved as the contractor refuses to take accountability and provide his insurance information for us to file a claim. Additionally, he has previously reached out in more of a harassment stance and has threatened to file a small claims lawsuit against us for filing a complaint with the BBB. I have not heard from him since.

    Thank you for your assistance in this matter and we look forward to resolution as our home had to be torn apart due to mold and water damage. We have already paid near $4,000 to a restoration company for the demo and are now in need of having walls installed/painted and carpet replaced as it needed to be cut out from the damage.
