9/22/23- I had called about an estimate for a very large front window (3 separate windows in one frame) to be replaced and *********************** (owner) sent me an email with a quote of $2183.00 with a 6-8 week turnaround and 1 day installation. On 10/2/23 I signed a purchase agreement. I paid $683.00 ***** credit card) on 10/3/23.10/6/23 **** missed an appointment to measure the window, he emailed me and asked if he could measure the windows from the outside. I said yes. I also asked him to look at a large half-circle window, above the other window, because it looked like it needed to be replaced as well. He emailed me on 10/9/23 saying it did need replaced, it would be an additional $$5124 and the new total was $7307.00. I agreed. On 10/10/23 I added another window and a change order addendum was signed by On 12/8/23 I emailed **** asking if there was an update for the installation. On 12/12/23 I emailed *********************** asking about the windows, I also said "the lack of communication is concerning". On 12/12/23 I called **** and left a voice message. On 12/13/23 **** called me and stated there was an issue with the top window and they were remaking it. I called **** on 1/12/24 and left a voice message, asking about the windows and said we needed to get on the same page as far as communication was concerned. In response, **** emailed me on 1/12/24, and stated that the holidays had caused some delays and the target date was January 28th. January 28, 2024 went by, there was no communication. I again emailed **** on 2/12/24 at 6:19pm and stated I had heard nothing for a month, and the last time there was any communication was only because I contacted him. I asked for an update, and to please keep me updated. On 2/12/24 at 6:58 pm, **** responded via email saying the windows were due to hit QC and he would contact me the next week. (Which would be Feb *****). It is now March 1, 2024 and I have heard nothing. I have been kind and patient, but the lack of communication and failure to install these windows in a reasonable amount of time is not acceptable.

      Business Response

      Date: 03/05/2024

We have sent an email asking for installation dates. We are awaiting her reply. We will not refund on this agreement, we have no control over manufacture delays and quality control standards. This order has taken some time and currently we are seeing some delays on alot of orders. Unfortunately we do need to be alot better with our communication.

Please reply with date approval for installation.

I am rejecting this response because: *********** sent me an email response, with an install date only after I filed this complaint. Their email was sent 3/2/24, I filed the complaint 3/1/24. My trust is gone. If simple communication has been neglected, how am I supposed to trust my house in this company's hands. It will be a botched install on purpose, in retaliation, because I filed this complaint.
      Sincerely,

      ***************************
