    This happened 3/18/24, I took my car to Fine Tuned Auto for a straight forward transmission flush and fill. When I picked my car up it was running fine. I didn't drive it much from the time I picked it up until I spotted a large puddle of transmission fluid in my garage floor. I contacted them immediately and told them what happened. They told me to bring it back in. They had my car for almost a week and when they finally were done they didn't tell me that they could not identify the leak and that it was that way before I brought it to them. My car won't shift right and is still losing fluid. I need to contact someone else to look at it. My transmission was not leaking prior to having them work on it and mess it up. I want to be refunded what I paid them as well as pay for the price of what ever needs to be done at this point which until I have someone look at it I won't have a figure. This is not right and these people should be made to solve this issue by either fixing the problem they created or replace the transmission. I appreciate your time in this matter, thank you,******

    ******************* came in over a month ago and at that time it was noted that there were several leaks, we performed a transmission service though the transmission drain plug and that was all. See Photo Marshman2 for the pre photo and when the customer came back in on the second visit we re-checked what we touched and there was no issues with that, but again we noted that there was leaks on the inspection see Marshman1 for the second inspection that was done. He also talked with my director at that time and he was told to let us know if there is anything else we can do. This ****** mile vehicle is in need of some serious repairs and has many many leaks. Most likely it was not dripping before it came in because the fluid level was low from the leaks before. We would be happy to refund part of what ******************* paid as a goodwill. Thank you for your time.

    I would like to ad a few other issues.  I was not aware of the time line to respond to this.  Since after reading there is a 7 day period from receipt I still would be in that window.  Also ***** wasn't even at the location either time I was there, I never spoke with him so how can he even be a part of this conversation?  Thank you

    This car is 22 years old and I was aware of some small oil leaks which I have not addressed prior to taking it to Fine Tuned Auto for a transmission flush and fill.  Those leaks have nothing to do with what I brought the car in for, it was for a transmission flush and fill.  At the time of this appointment the transmission didn't leak one drop of fluid.  I have photo's as well but really what good are they?  If you would like to compare dates of the photos I can supply them to you.  In the mean time I have taken the car into another shop which has quoted me a minimum of $1,000.00 which is mostly for repairing what was done at the other shop.I will know more later this week as to what is all needed.  This is wrong and shouldn't be acceptable with you.  They should not be allowed to treat the public like this.  ***** says he would be happy to refund part of the money I paid them to damage and totally mess up my car.  As I mentioned previously there is a running toll on what they did and ***** is happy to refund part of what I paid them.  There needs to something done about this.  Thank you for your help,

    Hello ****, thank you for getting in touch with me once again, I apologize for some of my tardiness in getting back with you.  My wife had a stroke a few weeks ago and that has been the focal point lately.  In my statement I will know more in a week or two, "maybe not verbatim", I meant I would have to take the car to another shop to fix the issues that the car had after taking it to Fine Tuned for a transmission flush and fill, "a straight forward job".  I did take it to another auto shop in the area and I was told that gaskets were missing from a few locations, one being the drain plug gasket.  That lack of the gasket created most of the leakage from the transmission.  As I have mentioned previously there wasn't one drop of transmission fluid leaking when I took it to Fine Tuned.  These people made comments pertaining to how old my car is and all the oil leaks that were going on which had nothing to do with the transmission!  The place I took it to repaired all they could find but they said they didn't know what damage was done when it was at the other shop.  It cost me over $1,000.00 to have just some of the lame work brought back to some kind of operating order.  If they didn't want to work on my car they just could have said no and I would have been on my way, but they didn't and all I heard over and over again was that it's 20 years old and has oil leaks everywhere.  IMO they shouldn't be in business treating customers like that, basically ripping the off and  giving back a car that was in worse shape after being worked on by them!  Thank you for your help,
